I plan on gutting out my old dresser and turning it into an stealth-type cabinet. I was at home depot came across 2 different products I think might reflect enough light for me. This is only temporary and I plan on getting some Panda Film eventually, but for right now my budget and I was considering these 2 products. I am considering the duct insulation more because it is self adhesive.

Reflectix Staple Tab Insulation
Reflectix 24 In. x 25 Ft. Staple Tab Insulation - ST24025 at The Home Depot

and
Thermwell Self-adhesive Foil/foam Duct Insulation

the best reflectant you can get is the black & white 1, not sure what its called but the white has up to 95% reflection and doesnt create hot spots.

If it'll be temporary just line with aluminum foil or get a couple cans of white spray paint.

something tells me you dont bother doing are research or real growing befoe answering questions, while you are trying to be helpful, you will end up giving the wrong advice/impression to someone and everyoen else that is not aware who reads your post. Answer questions only you know the actual answer to via proper expierence.

You're dumb Arrid. If you've had a bad experience with aluminum foil then speak up. Otherwise you're regurgitating what you've been told. But..... I have used aluminum foil and your whining doesn't do shit for me.

Funny thing is I actually have.
One of my first grows involved aluminium foil, It was a BIG mistake as it fried my plants.

And why the personal attack?

i've seen a lot of your posts and in most of them you have given out bad info..

Maybe you should take time to look at what you are telling people before discrediting decent information that I post to people..

cuz foil can't burn plants smartass. this is a myth spread by people that don't know what is what. Don't blame the aluminum because you didn't know how to work it.

Just get some flat white paint its 85-93% reflective, aluminum foil is garbage and should be avoided it will created hot spots. Shit flat yellow paint has better reflective quality than foil lol

I don't know what the problem is. Panda film is hell-of-a-lot less expensive than that other stuff your looking at.

Al foil is used for cooking. i put my chips on it and then in the oven. it reflects HEAT not light.

the heat will bounce off the foil and onto the plants which will make burn holes = not good.

just use panda film, its cheap enough
