Top stuff cheers buddy just what I wanted tongue hat I've just give them 2L off A+B 5ml off each the pots felt really light,Cheers for your advice. They are doing fine just keep on going an try not to overthink anything or try too hard. This is when a lot of people get hyper focused an chop early or feed em too much so just try to not do those things.
Cut back on the nutrients, you're burning them.
The plants look great, I am under the impression you are skeptical about the development of the flowers size.Rest assured they will gain in size (thicken up) but you wont see a considerable change in the early weeks of flowering.Expect a rapid gain in size/thickening in the later weeks (eg.week 5-8ish, dependent on strain). Just to address a possible issue you may incur, the plants in the images given have a slight yellowing on the tips of the leaves this happened to me on my previous grow (Was growing Island Sweet Skunk) and developed into nutrient burn.So possibly decrease the nutrients and give a good flush with PH'd water. From the images given I cant see what grow medium you are using, but if its coco (I use coco) and water soluble nutrients are being used I suggest a flush (just for future reference) just before the switch to the flowering phase(that is if it is nutrient burn) ( resets the grow medium) then proceed with the required amount of nutrients for the flowering phase.
Happy growing.
The plant looks fine to me but the buds look a little small. How much light does the plant receive, what’s the temps, and is the plant getting a good supply of CO2?
Good stuff buddy thanks for you comments that what I wanted to hear! It's my very first grow so I'm bound to be making a mistake here and there But I suppose I'll know a lot more on my second grow, I'm using Jacks Magic Medium, I'm also giving them Canna A+B nutes I haven't give them any bloom nutes, Yea you hit the nail on the head I was a little worried about the flowers but I suppose they will grow do you suggest I give them a blooming nute? Instead off just A+B I go told I could use this all the way through until the end without no bloom nutes I have a few friends that do it with no bloom nutes, Ohh yeah and by the way I woke up this morning and waited until the timer switches them on for 12 and I noticed a few more yellowing crumbly leaves so I think it is nute burn, I'll cut half the dose of what I'm giving them they are on 5ml off each A+B to 2 litres of water, Cheers for your advice buddy.
A+B are generally for vegetative growth/development (nitrogen is typically focused upon in the vegetative stage). Bloom is for the flowering phase which generally demands more magnesium and calcium but still the plants require nitrogen (Grew some OG KUSH and it craves calcium in flowering and also grew some Island Sweet Skunk that craved nitrogen in flowering). You can easily just use A+B for the entirety of the flowering phase.Although I would heavily suggest that a decreased amount of A+B be fed to the plants while they recover from the slight nutrient burn, if the tips of the leaves start to brown then it is definitely nutrient burn and needs to be flushed with PH'd water. If you don't mind me asking what strain are you growing?
A few more without the flash on folks.
Your plants look good Smithy1,
They aren't budding much yed because they have put a lot of energy into the stretch, which makes me think that your plants have quite a bit of Sativa in Them..
Now the plant growth should slow down and you should see much more flower production within the next 2 weeks.
What strain is it?
Cheers buddy,
I'll feed them a litre off water for around 4 days see If that does anything for them then ill start my nutes at half strength when I've finished the water to, I was worried when I seen the leaves curling and going brown I thought I had ruined my full grow.I wouldn't worry to much this is similar to my Island Skunk grow in the degree of nutrient burn, just flush it and feed PH'd water for a few days (2-4 days) and if the browning of the tips of the leaves stop progressing, then start with half strength nutrient feeding.
I'm two weeks in to flowering, and my bud sites are a bit further along than yours by comparison. I use fox farm nutes at half strength, and usually go a week of watering with no nutes every couple of weeks. Gives them a chance to use up the feed I've given them before forcing more on them. Remember they're in business to sell product, so the more you unnecessarily use the more they sell. I think their instructions for use are heavy.
