Went for a picnic and a walk in the woods with my boy september first. While walking down a seasonal dirt road about a mile from home i found these guys growing on the shoulder of the road. It was a swampy area with a spring fed creek near by. There was a warm rain the day before .

Thanks for the concern guys, these are p. Caerulipes, I'm sending a print and specimen to the experts at shroomery for 100% confirmation.. I'm well versed in I.d.ing the mushrooms in my area but I'm no expert, but I'm confident these are the real deal.. They are active, these were more visual then head.. They have an olive tint and bruised green rather then blue. I'm excited to get this info up and photos because of the rarity of this species and very little photos of them.. People are more then welcome to share these pics . I agree no one should ever eat wild mushrooms without be 100% certain of what they are.. Even then there still is risk..

You ate them? Brave man . Report back in two weeks if your liver starts shutting down ;)

No chance id be eating brown gilled mushrooms like that, and your saying their a rare species. Man

You posting this info without proper identofication other then green bruises

Some retard is going to think they found it and can save some money on psycedelics.

Dont eat little brown mushrooms kids.
Too many variables.

To be clear. He is sending the spores to be examined under a microscope to make sure.

And this is still a trust between you and the person doing this for you.

So bruising blue means a mushroom is safe?

No

Unfourtunitly there are alot of people on these forums that take one look at that picture and go for a walk in the woods a year later and say of fuck look, a mushroom that turns blue... It must be magic . Its not the case.

Did I say EVERY mushroom that bruises blue contains psilosin? NO. I know my mushrooms that's all. Ok, kids don't pick and eat mushrooms without an expert identification. Mushrooms are dangerous and can be painfully deadly if misidentified. Better?

Yes, think about the large amount of random people that come through, viewing this forum. Its best to make sure people are aware of all the facts.
