You cant overwater in one session...overwatering comes from watering too often..not too much in one instance. To me..those plants in the right conditions, should take, at this point in their cycle and with your lights, 2.5L of water every 4th day, max 5. However, if the pot doesn't dry out well enough, you can't keep putting water in..it will do more harm than good. Roots can't be kept in a wet environment without oxygen for too long!
Well that is exactly what I did. I added half gallon on the 13th, but I also added half gallon twice before that like an idiot not very spread out maybe 2 days apart. They were not even close to be dry. By the 13th, they were done.

Ya..i gave up on that 1-2 inch thing fast as well. If its a hot dry summer day..the top inch will be dry in no time lol. I only go by weight since! no more drooping like i used to have! especially my auto's..they would droop so much beofre lights out every night..i was told when istarted that it's normal..but to me it didnt look normal lol. It wasn't as it hasn't happened since! lol
Mine have not drooped before lights out in 5 days. So I know watering is much better now.

Im starting midflower this week, and im still only watering once every 6-7 days (4 and 5 gallon pots)! At times i have to water on the 4th, sometimes 3rd day at this point..its cooler now, so plants aren't drinking as much, but all happy as can be. I start checking on the 4th day after watering..push the bucket...look at the lower leaves to see any hang, and you can feel a difference in the lower leaves as well once they start needing water..it gets a bit more delicate/soft? Ultimately...once it really needs water..the leaves will hang along with the stem, whereas when its overwatered..only the leaves will droop/cup..the stem remains rigid.

If this was your plant, what would you do?

I would check my runoff and compare it to a sample of the soil i can take from the top and find a balance to see if something is really off with regards to ph or ppm in my medium. If the results seem reasonable..i would water it with 2.5L of water WHEN the medium is dry enough with only epsom salt (1/4 teaspoon). See how it responds. I follow my plants so close now, that i do my best to make sure there are no issues except lack of food once i get to flower. At the start i'd be chasing my tail and yield/quality would be affected. Less is more:) on my first grow i followed it too much and starved the shit out of my two plants! lol..but after a few years and much gained knowledge, i agree..less is more..because once you go too much of something...it's hard to get it out/neutralize it's affects..especially in flower!

so just plain epson salts from a drug store or something? I am affraid if I give it that much water she will be right back to being over watered. She has responded well to the less water more frequently method, besides the yellowing.

You have a good quality soil, you say good water, good light..temps/humidity check, i say your ph should be a bit lower, but i agree, at 6.4 its not out of range..being i have no experience with ffof, its hard to say exactly how to approach it..im not a flushing kind of person lol. I use pro-mix as ffof is not available here. Packed with food, there shouldn't really be a shortage yet..plants aren't huge..oh btw..you gotta start lst'ing at least! Different topic i know:)

i get my epsom at the dollar store..just make sure its not scented. You do as you see fit..you know your plants better than i do..im just basing it on their size, light and grow medium. Go with 1.5L then and see how long she is ok with that..the key in the end is to give the roots a full watering, but that watering should dry out ideally within 5 days..that ensures a proper balance of wet/damp/dry so the roots can have access to oxygen.

Looks like the plant next to her has fallen fate to the same thing, lots of yellow and brown spots everywhere on both plants. I pulled all the leaves that were done off. Looks like just might be mag. Not sure what to do now. If I add the epsom salts now with water they will both be super over watered. Where does this leave me? Not too sure here. Leaves are dropping quick. At this rate by the end of the week she will be bare.

Have you recently sprayed them with soapy water or some other type of spray or pyrethrin to maybe kill aphids?

Yes I posted above I used pyrethrin. But that doesn't really have any weight here because the other two are a nice healthy green and show no signs of this, and I sprayed all 4.

ya thats contained to one small area, could have been anything hit that leaf. My issue is a little different than that.
But it started as 1 slightly droopy plant and you have chased symptom after symptom trying this and that and now you are at yellowing, it's hard to pinpoint one problem when you are trying to correct non stop, my point is to calm down and quit chasing, take it all back to square one and just relax a bit and wait a few days in between attempts
