What would you do?

how would you position these girls in a 4x4 tent under trellis net?

2 big girls in back? front? diagonal from each other?

also do you place your pots as far away from other 3 pots as possible? basically as close to each corner as possible? leaving the plants to grow towards middle of net? or more centered to grow towards outer edges?

Im growing Heavyweight fruit punch x3 and Atomic x 1....both strains are known to stretch quite a bit

They are being flipped this evening to 12/12

Yes its my first time, clueless newbs yo lol

Plants look great. Can't wait to see the rest of the grow. (I see them under the scrog as diagonal and centered in their corner)

Thanks bud, everything has went well so far.

I was thinking same as you, diagonal seems like the best way to ensure they don't overcrowd each other.

Appreciate the response, you have given me good help/tips/advice all throughout this grow when ive asked/needed it,, certainly appreciate it.

Mh switched to hortilux super hps 600w

Trellis net installed, no doubt in my mind the stretch will fill the remaining net if the info regarding these strains is correct.

12/12 begins

Day 1 of flower is here

As they are just bring them a little mire into the centre. Point your over the plants not at them.

Looks good :-)

Hey thanks

I have a 16 inch oscillating fan breezing over the canopy, the fan you see is one of two small 6 inch fans I have under the canopy for air flow. Hoping both will be enough for underneath

Do you have extraction? That should be enough that no air in the tent is stagnant. :-)

Yes 6 inch inline fan and filter.

I have found without the fans on ,the temps begin rising a little higher than I would like.

I assumed like you said, my inline fan would take care of the heat aswell as stagnant air. Hasn't happened that way tho.

A 4x4 with 6" inline, impossible any air stagnates, thats a shit load of air moved for a very inefficient heater of air in a very small space.

Little things, i am very technical at setup, they growing dont worry :-)

Temps were 81.6 at canopy with exhaust fan running full to cool the hood.

Something I should I thought of more thoroughly is my light schedule.

Currently lights on at 930pm and off at 930am

I should have timed them to run from 6am to 6pm as that would have been much easier with my work schedule.

Live and learn I guess lol

Sounds more like you have your thermometer in the light and it is reading radiation and not true air temps.

Thermometers must be out of all indirect and direct light, heat is complex - radiation conduction and convection. We do not want to read any light radiation.

Why you need a fan to cool probably.

Hope this helps :-)

you are correct, thermometer is hanging off one end of my hood.

where do you guys place yours? to get a good canopy reading? i assume thats what we want?

xtsho, net might come out, faster than it went in lol

i was hoping it would help me keep canopy flat and offer support to the buds and stems as they grew, that was my line of thinking anyway lol

No and although it would seem that way it is very very wrong and the extra light radiation is increasing your temps and making you try to cool too much probably.

Thermometer needs to be away from all light which in a reflective tent can be hard. try shading it and placing it at different locations so you can appreciate the effect of light radiation.

This is complex stuff but once done you can be confident in your environment :-)

You would need smaller net size to scrog with if that was your plan. I personally don't like to use anything that would restrict me from moving plants. But others use netting very effectively to control their plants.

yep, squares are much bigger than i wanted, never really noticed until it was installed tho.

Am seriously thinking ill just take it back out while i can.

first grow, no need to complicate it even more by not being able to take them out , which i have done all through veg.

all those pretty scrog pics got the best of me lol
