yea that is what a lot of people tell me but i have a hard time finding some small sized perlite a lot of the shops here sell huge ass bags of it but the size is big like the size of a thumb. i think i saw some at homedepot though so imma end up trying that. i mean really that is only the difference i see between the 2 though just the amount of perlite. i know roots is made with coco and i believe ffoc is made with peat. both good products from what i hear though. drainage don't seem to be the major issue last time i used it just the fact i watered every 3 days so imma try doing what i do now and water 5-6 days letting it grow into the pot until it drops 3 days then pot up.

roots is good but i did read a lot about people getting fungus gnats right out of the bags. first time it happened to me wasn't a lot of fungus gnats though this go around im using a previous bag we have outside sitting in the open idk how old it is but it's drenched in water tons of fungus gnats in it when i was first using it not so much now that i can see. pro mix i never tried before im not a fan of soilless but i hear good things about it. only found it yesterday the new garden shop i go to carries 1 line of it i think it's the HP one.
i got maybe a good week or two before i have to decide though plants are still small
LOL I'd argue with you since I use GH 3 part Flora series ha ha. Essentially there are many ways to skin a cat.
You could also have a lockout condition where your plants are not 'seeing' the nutrients, yet your PPM is under the threshold for creating an osmotic diuresis

what nutes are you actually using though from AN? seems kinda like fox farm in the sense they have a 3 step line but AN has 2-3 different lines then they got basic what looks like amendment liquids like rhino skin, b-52, etc..
also do you think it is even worth the money? i've seen the prices in my local garden shop then online at other states via youtube as they show the products and talk about them with the pricing and it seems like for me it's almost always 2x the price for what other people are paying. i looked at the price of voodoo juice for 1gal shit was $280 + tax that is fucking insane just for a 1gal bottle imo. the other lines were close to $200 as well around $170 i think.

I love my GH Flora Series. Been using it since the early 90's. Went to Advanced and went right back to GH. Only problem with GH is that they were bought out by monsanto.
I've run GH in soiless mix, DWC, Flood and Drain...all with great results. In soiless mix pH at 6.5. In pure hydro use a pH of 5.8

i've invested quite a bit of money on my plants for sure XD i live in Hawaii shit aint cheap here. gallon of milk alone is $10. prices are not as crazy as alaska though. and no i looked at it but didnt see day to day pics just a bunch of flowering pics. i will look at it again right now

you still didn't answer my question; which nutrients by AN are you using? I am trying to take into consideration your growing skills and grow room conditions compared to mine as well. just looking at em though yea i want something of that stature for now or close to it. what im working with is this

they ight but not as good as i want them. i fucked that grow up thought with high amounts of nitrogen and i could of vegged longer as well but wanted to see results of 7 weeks of veg

Those are not bad and although you are out doors thatsa new ball game when coming to flower .
My skills rely in my plant food and my control of the lights and watering ...I just follow Big Mike Advice and it works like a charm .
Now I have won Awards with Grotek Line as well . .
im actually indoors i just toss the plants outside to flower to experiment how they will do. i can't veg outside otherwise at my house unless i supplement with grow lights. i'll try to look at the prices and see if i want to invest that much into a new line when i still got a lot of nutrients of my old nutes.
im still confused though like If i buy Sensi Grow does that mean i gotta buy the bloom and use in conjunction as well? like with the other line it's Grow, bloom, Micro. same with fox farm got grow, bloom, and flowering. the "bloom" is what confuses me. im thinking of it like Big Bloom but in this case it says to use during like week 1+ i think
