I store in the quart mason jars. I mostly just smoke the bubble hash my girl makes and pretty much let the rest of the flower go. Maybe save a zip for sharing with people when they come by. lol

The boveda works good if you like a little moisture in the bud, I prefer mine crumbly dry as it burns better in a joint or blunt, not always going out. The boveda is to keep enough moisture that cure can take place. I don't have any boveda around here anymore.
My plan is to make BHO and edibles out of anything thats not main colas. I too am a joint smoker and prefer it more on the crumbly side than the spongy side.

I did order some boveda packs with my jewelers loupe, so ill have them here if/when i want them.

I have just read so many threads with guys totally messing up entire crops by drying to fast or getting mold on the cure. I want to avoid these things if at all possible lol.
OK. BUY Boveda packs! 62% is the generally accepted % for weed.

When I first bought them I had a stash that was a little dry and it perked back up when it 'rehydrated to the right rH. The thing about the packs is that they have a solution in them, and they add OR take moisture as needed to maintain 62%.

So if you 'over-dry' a little, it won't be an issue. If you are using your tent, you can control everything and that won't be a problem.

I play with all my weed regularly. I love weed! Big buds, little nugs, sugar leaves, the keif from the grinder, that gummy stuff you can scrape off the grinder teeth, etc. I LOVE WEED!!!

I mention this because the only way you'll have a mold or mildew issue during the process is if you forget about it. If you open the jar after a few hours of the first attempt and smell ammonia, roll it back out of the jars and let it dry more.

I don't even cure my stash bud, you should try some. I had some that I cured and some that I didn't. I let my buddy smoke them both and he couldn't tell a difference other than the cured lost a little of the aroma. That said there are many ways to skin a cat, I suggest all new growers try different methods and see how the results please their palate.
I have to agree. After it is dry you get the best high. The issue is long term storage because I am pretty much the only one smoking it. For that, the cure is necessary.

Also, if you are already planning edibles, get a NOVA. I will drop $200 on another one in a heartbeat if this one dies shortly after the warranty runs out.

What's a nova HAF?

Never heard of it, I'm new to the edible making game, but want to use all my larf, trimmings and popcorn to process some bho and edibles for sure.

I'm way too anal over these plants to leave them alone long enough for pm or mold lol that's a very good point.
