Tearing down well liked leaders isn't limited to Trump. Sanders strategy has been to tear down Obama. Maybe not using the same vile words but he goes after Obama's legacy whenever he can. As if it weren't for the Affordable Care Act, we'd have universal healthcare. Or it was all due to Obama that Republicans mounted a comeback in the early part of this decade.
