Bernie Sanders 2020

Funny enough that does describe exactly how we got Trump. People got 'sold' on a particular candidate, and when they lost they were so deep into the propaganda they thought not voting was the right choice. And because of that voter suppression won out and Trump won.
So voter suppression had nothing to do with it?

Nor the blatant subversion of the people's choice?

Damn right I was sold on Bernie! I even swallowed my pride and voted for Clinton anyway- and look how that worked out.

Not doing it again.

Those people were "sending a message". The message is "we are easy to manipulate and will be again in 2020".

The message we're sending is that we aren't going to vote for the corporate candidate just because they 'aren't as bad' as the other corporate candidate.

We'll be choosing the candidate that represents our interests.

Democracy. I know you can't stand the idea but it works!

I am not sure what you meant in the first part if you want to try saying it a different way? And it sucks it worked out bad last time, I don't think anyone was ready for what happened in those targeted states.

But democracy in Weimar Germany led to Hitler! How can democracy not be insane when doing the same thing and expecting different results... Ya know, insanity ...according to your "Vulcan logic".

No, what led to Hitler was opposing forces failing to band together and instead whining and working against each other once they didn't get exactly what they wanted and deciding to pout instead.

Tell us again Tty, oh great friend of "Mr. Putin" and "Mr. Assad", who here has extolled the virtues of Biden? Be specific. You hate anybody who won't pout and stay home if Bernie doesn't win. It's your LET BERNIE WIN OR WE'LL GIVE YOU TRUMP tactic again.

Sorry Tty, none of us are your girlfriend and we aren't going to get bullied into doing your will.

The richest one percent- really the top .1%- are the real enemy of average Americans. They're the ones who bribe politicians, legally or not, it's time to call it what it is. They're the ones who fund the DNC & RNC, who then kick those bringing to troublesome demographics off the registration lists. They're the ones who fund lobbying groups to enact restrictive voting rules, close polls early, etc, etc.

The United States has refused to allow international voting observers for decades. Care to guess why?

You're welcome to vote for the candidate of your choice. I'll be doing the same.

Maybe by 2024 when you get your voting rights back. I welcome you to vote for whomever you like. I am confident your state will go Democrat rendering the point moot. But I'll be damned if I am giving you a free shot at spreading propaganda and lies.

I'm eligible to vote, registered, verified and ready!

What's your excuse?

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, or OSCE, is sending international election observers to the 2018 U.S. midterm election.

American voters may be surprised to learn such visits are routine. In fact, this will be the seventh such visit since 2002.

Please explain why the U. S. has banned international observers for decades and how did the 400 observers that "observed" the 2016 election observe it?

Tty wants to know why you support Trump.

Lol

My guess is that he got this shit from RT.com. The Russians like to play the game of offering to send election observers which we rightfully tell to fuck off. But you know how RT is, they will take a grain of truth and expand it to a lie. And you know how Tty is, if it suits his preconceived opinions, he will accept it as fact without checking regardless of the source.

Agree that a few are lost in propaganda but they aren't why Trump won. Exit polling in the key states showed that 90% of the people who voted for Sanders in the primary, voted for Clinton in the general election. Historically, it was was above average for voters who lost the primary but stuck with the Democratic Party's candidate instead of flipping to a third party or Trump. The best analysis I've read showed that Trump won mainly because his rhetoric strongly resonated with white people whose biases leaned toward racism and misogyny. That doesn't mean your scenario won't play out this time around but then again, this time Bernie isn't the only one who appeals to people on the left.
