I'm completely new to this. I'm growing one AK47 and 2 Northern Lights autoflower in a 7 gallon fabric pot, FFOF. My plant is 6 weeks and I have yet to give it nutrients. I'll give it nutes on Saturday when the nutes arrive. I'm using Fox Farm Nutes.

How much nutes do I give my plant bc I have done the research and I am confused. Do I start with week one or start with how old the plant is?

I normally only give nutes 2-3 times half the recommended dose; Autos don’t need that much nutes, depending on the soil though..

What soil are u using?

Plant is outside 24/7on my balcony

It has yellow spots on the leaves.

How often do I water? Do I water til it run off every time ?

Do I use ALL of the water with the nutes in there?

Do I start with week 1 of watering OR how old my plant is? For example, if my plant is 6 weeks old, do I start giving the plant nutes starting at the 6th week according to the bottle?

I don't use Fox Farm nutes but if they're anything like others you mix them by the liter/gallon, if so then no, you don't give them the whole gallon at once.
For example I use promix nutes, and I mix a 4 liter milk jug and use it over several waterings.
As for the question about weeks, I've never heard of a nute schedule in veg differing by how many weeks old the plant is. How many weeks into flower, yes, that would affect the nute mix. But as I said, I've never used FF nutes.

In regards to watering, I use this soil hygrometer; works a treat. U can see how wet the soil is all the way to the bottom of ur pot. Less likely to overwater and it roughly indicates ph as well

If I use the gallon of water before the week is up, do I mix another gallon and continue to water for the rest of the week or do I just use plain water ?

Also, do the ounces vary on how big the pot is?

Like Rainbow Warrior said, alternate the nutes you mix up (the gallon) with plain water, and you should be good. When you run out mix up another gallon and continue. I wouldn't use the nutes more often unless signs of a deficiency show up.

The ph meter is a good idea because a ph imbalance can cause a nutrient lockout, looking a lot like a deficiency. I had that problem with a blueberry, and just couldn't figure out what was going on. The leaf spotting be from mites.

Got it! So I'm starting with week 4 on the back of the bottle ? Using 1/3 of that. Mix it with a gallon of water. Use the entire gallon if need be to make sure I have a run off. When I run out, use plain water. Also, I transferring my plant in the cup to the 7 gallon. Do I need to mix the gallon with nutes n water te soil til I have a run off before I plant it in the 7 gallon? Or just use plain water?

If you're transferring the plant into fresh soil I really wouldn't feed the plant, just water to prevent transplant shock. The new soil should give her what she needs for a while.

When do I add nutes to the plant being transferred ? It is 4 weeks old.

A 7 gallon pot for an autoflower, I would be surprised if you need to feed her at all as she grows roots to fill the pot. IIRC she should take 11 or 12 weeks total grow time, so you may need to feed her some time while she's in flower, but I wouldn't think you'll need to for at least 2 to 4 weeks.

THANK YOU! Great information. So I'll wait til it flower to give it nutes. How many ounces do you think I'll get with it being in a 7 gallon pot?

There are people getting 2oz per plant, in 7g pots, but I wouldn't bank on that, especially if it's your first grow. You might want to check out the autoflower group here on RIU. I put 2tsp of big bloom in a gallon. My plant took the entire gallon. Also, my ph was a tad bit high. My plant I have in a cup, I gave it nutes. I'll be transferring it to a 7 gallon on Wednesday n it has mold in the bottom of the cup. Do I leave my plant in the cup?
