Some of the very bottom leaves on my outside plants have turned totally yellow then to black and shriveled up. They are in the same type potting soil and are fed the exact same as my indoor plants that have zero issues, the only thing is watering schedule, outside I'm watering daily as opposed to every 2 days inside and inside is hotter. Other than a few leaves shriveling the plants are great, I think it's just thirsty and pulling alot of nutes.your plants look great, I'd love to get mine on point like that
I tried that test kit but I'm not very confident in the results so I ran and grabbed a three way meter from lowes. I tested all the beds and the readings seem to be all over the place. I'm getting between 5-7 ph readings.. the plant that I'm having the most trouble with tends to have readings on the lower side, right around 5 and in some spots even slightly lower ... what should I be looking for? how would I bring the soil ph up or down if necessary? They didn't have a water test there so I still have no real idea what my water is testing at either

Stealth that kind of PH tester has to Sit for like 30 mins in the same spot in the soil for an accurate result i believe it need to come to a rest they call it read the instructions and check i could be wrong.your plants look great, I'd love to get mine on point like that

To adjust the soil ph up or down you would add lime or sulfur to the soil.your plants look great, I'd love to get mine on point like that

Could be. Will be interesting to see how they respond. The only thing that throws me off about that is the solid brown spots coming from the edges in. I've had N def before but havent seen brown that solid or crispy creeping from the edges from just N def. Doesnt look like it's at crisis levels or anything though, so plenty of time to figure it out.Thx for all the help guys .. I'm keeping an eye on things .. the black tips hasn't become any worse, its seems like a one-time event ... the only thing I really did any differently was to mix neem with the all seasons horticultural to knock back the mealy bugs. I went a little heavier than I usually do so I'm thinking that may have contributed to it ... i always spray about 5-6pm when the sun has dropped behind the trees, never during the day.
I'm still sort of leaning towards an N deficiency on the yellowing leaves. I basically never give them any kind of major source of N. My feeding schedule for the most part involves Neptunes Harvest Fish and Seaweed about every 7-10 days ... I've had the same small bottle of FF Grow Big since last season and would only use about a teaspoon in a gallon spray bottle every other week to foliar feed all season ... I'm going to mix up a regular dose drench of the Grow Big today and feed a couple of the them to see how they react with a little extra N. I'm also waiting for the amazon truck w/ the H2O ph tester because I'd really like to get an idea of where my water is.
Looking good!My plants are coming along great, clones and seeds started at the same time, inside are a few weeks into flower and outdoors haven't started flowering yet. I'm thinking I may have to make up something to support the branches of the outside plants, they are stretching trying to chase the sun.View attachment 4373617 .

I wouldn't. I would leave it alone and just reinforce the weak side so that it doesnt cause damage when it gets heavy during flower.Alright guys. Main stem split in may on this plant and it is just now showing signs of favoring the stronger side if the plant. My question would be do I remove the half of the plant that is struggling to allow health section to continue to grow and mature properly?View attachment 4374399
