No Aj is 1 of 2 original sour diesel's that was from seeds found diesel ECSD being the other. 1 was started by asshole joe AJ the other by the catskill crew ECSD.
Karma's mom and Riri are phenos found in Rez 06 sd ibl. Rez used the ECSD cut x Soma's NYCD to make his sd ibl seeds. From what I have seen Karma's is heavy on the diesel side and the Riri has a grapefruit/lavender diesel mix.
I grew the SD ibl back in 06 and the grapefruit/lavender pheno was outstanding. 1 of the best tasting plants I ever grew while still packing that diesel punch. I already had ECSD, Giesel, MSS, FFA, and all the chems. Well except #3 which I still have no idea where it came from because JoeBrand had said he only kept #4 but whatever.

As for where the taste comes from I assume its from NYCD because Soma's old original mom was a grapefruit tasting plant unlike his orange one now.

Thanks for taking the time to explain things to me. I've been trying to put things together from reading posts on different forums but I was way off. Only thing sour I've run so far was headbanger, well 2 sour pheno's of 5 females. Thanks again

They grow already for 2-3 weeks,yes i need to hurry as Karma told they go 11-15 weeks..

In "Grow Albums" am made thread where i will put updates on Sour A5 Haze..

Stink good even they are little... problem is we have heat wave,it was today 36 C and tommorow they
announce it will be 40 C... little ones are definitly under stress as i dont have cooled space for them..

but good thing is they will be tested on extreme heat stress...

think in their space is atleast 40 C when lights are on..

Need to survive till Tuesday,then coming some refreshment and lower temps.. it will be easier for all..

Its peak of season so everywhere now is hot on North cap.. atleast you have some AC that keeped humidity perfect,
lot more easier to keep plants from funghal problems if humidity is not extreme while in same time lot of hot,
also this initial pots are small,maybe they already overgrowed that root space..
soon repot in little bigger pot that will give space to roots so they jump
a bit...

when hot and humid i haved also worst rates of cloning,from 4 trays with 60 clones survived just one tray
with 15 poor performing cuttings...

Ohh i dont worry much for these plants from seeds.. am sees before thru experience they can survive
pretty big temps and still thriving..

Cant wait those refreshment as am also stressed... going under cold shower every now and then to keep
myself still sane in some measure..

Supposedly there is AJ's cut, ECSD, and NYCD that are all different. AJ's isn't from Rez's work. AJ has had that cut forever. Most people prefer the ECSD from what I've read. I have some ECSD S1s that I'm excited for

This is what I've read on instagram. The catskill crew chimes in a Top Dawg post and says the genetics is a confirmed Chem 91 S1 (hermied) x unknown pollen donor. They think they donor was Sensi Skunk (hermie).

Supposedly nspecta popped the chem 1-4 (given from JoeBrand) and he gave cuts back to JB. JB only kept the 4. I have a bodhi cross HP3 (chem 3 x 88g13/hp). He also has another chem 3 cross - cobra lips.

Do you prefer ECSD over Giesel?

JoeBrand popped the seeds not Nspecta, he did it in his thread on ICmag before he deleted his acc and thread.
As for ECSD or Giesel I like ECSD, she is a floppy finicky fokker but when dialed in ecsd is 1 of the best smokes around. I kept MSS over Giesel but my growmie has Giesel so maybe I will run her again to try and bring the MSS out of her in a cross.
