I've never tasted colors, or seen music, or actually seen anything that wasn't already there. I've never had an actual hallucination. For me LSD and Mushrooms have provided lots of visual distortions, sometimes geometric, some times more fluid. But they always take things that are actually there and distort them. I've seen faces, and skulls and bones, and animals, and fractals, and colors, and paisley patterns, but it was all distortions of things that I was actually looking at. Patterns forming in wood grain, or on randomly colored tiles, or in tree branches and leaves.
If you ate a half a tab and didn't feel anything, then I would say eat 2. You could eat 2 right now, but it might not be as strong as if you waited a few days.
