20 percent would go to 23 %I would of guessed no more than 5% diff...but 15%?! Was one 10% and the other 25% THC?
Any ETA on those? We've got some new Uv bars incoming..... We will be sure to get one to ya soon. They really are nice and are designed to bolt onto the 550. We added a receptacle on the cord so it can be run daisey chained to the 550 or other uv bars.
End of this month.Any ETA on those?
Within my small, about two square foot, grow space.
I am using two twenty-six watt CFL bulbs for UV supplementation. On whether or not it is helpful, keep in mind our solar system's sun naturally produces UV. With indoor grows you will see more trichomes as the UV output increases. For example in the desert climates UV output is generally rated higher than in the tropical climates.
cant wait to get those baby!!!End of this month.
280nm/285nm is right at the threshold of UVB and UVC. That's lower than you want to go. That's right about where it starts causing chromosomal damage.cant wait to get those baby!!!
would be awesome sir to put inside your uv bar some 280/285 nm , not a lot because its dangerous spectrum, but 2 or 3 for a 890mm led bar
like: 280nm , 310nm , 365 nm + some purple and it will be perfect!
UVB also causes some DNA damage and UVA has been shown to be at least similarly effective in increasing essential oil production so, in my opinion, it isn't worth the trade off.theire is some 280 in the natural sun radiation sir, im not speaking about a full blast of that lol
just a little bit in concert with the 310/365nm few hour a day would be nice thc boost in my opinion
I agree. We have kicked it around but the liability lol. I made a pretty mean UVB t-5 bulb that got nixed due to the CMs non compete. If I stayed under it more than 10 mins I felt stings on my arms. It peaked at 280 nm............UVB also causes some DNA damage and UVA has been shown to be at least similarly effective in increasing essential oil production so, in my opinion, it isn't worth the trade off.
would love to know what would be the spec of your next new uv strip @Stephenj37826I agree. We have kicked it around but the liability lol. These come with the driver inside the new shiney housing Similar spec to strip as far as spectrum goes. Switching led brands but wavelengths are pretty much the same. We aren't ruling out a UV-B option but it is again costly and extra costly if we include glass.would love to know what would be the spec of your next new uv strip @Stephenj37826
wanna know if i can couple them with the hlg 60 i bought from you, i found the temperature of that hlg60 high after 1hours using....
maybee will use the same driver from the hlg60 to use your futur uv strip + hlg60 ( wanna use them half power, i prefere less heat)
15% more THC with UV? LMAO, that is bullshit right there. It's less then 5% more.If I remember right it was 15% increase in THC.
Not lately, all my current strains are 25% + already, I ran it 4 hrs a day.
Calm down moron, if you have a strain that is 20% and UV boosts it by 15% that means it's now 23%.15% more THC with UV? LMAO, that is bullshit right there. It's less then 5% more.
If there was a noticeable difference I'd still be using my CMH lights with Phillips bulbs 3100k and 4200k.......The CMH's sit in my basement pantry, kinda dusty.
You are pretty quick w/ the name calling. But yet dumb enough to consider Solar System lighting, haha.Calm down moron, if you have a strain that is 20% and UV boosts it by 15% that means it's now 23%.
