When does everyone top their autos if they do?

On my first round of autoflowers. Got off to a slow start being my first time in coco as well but finally corrected my issue and it’s taking off.

Just wondering for those that top their autos, at what time do you do it the first time? Mine is on day 22 but only has two sets of multi bladed serrated leaves.

When people say dont do something its because they haven't done it themselves... Has anyone EVER had a plant do exactly what it was supposed to do??? Someone said that you couldn't transplant an auto,i KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THAT'S NOT TRUE!!! If you say it can't be done,I'M going to prove you wrong and find a way to make it happen!!! And its always the simplest shit that people make the hardest... Sorry for the ramblings, but I'm sort of a mythbuster...

I FIMmed all mine last round at right around 25 days on some and 18 on others. The ones I did at 18 days responded better and got bigger overall. Probably just LST them and do some tucking this time around to see what comes of it.

Yes I agree . If you've actually tried it and don't advise doing it that is your experience in something,
but If you've never actually tried something and don't advise doing it, that is your IN-experience in doing something

I have seen nice looking topped autos on here so I'm positive you can do it! But I haven't tried it. Maybe next year outdoors I'll throw a couple autos outside early season and mess with them I'll share my experience when we get there :)

How u doing, i top autos but its best to get it done as early as possible, because of the auto short life span if topped at the wrong time the plant wont have enough time to fully recover leaving you with half of the potential yield

There is no reason that a plant cant reach its full potential if it has been topped... You've never had a plant go longer than it was SUPPOSED TO??? Ive had and seen autos that have taken waaaayyyy over their due date to grow!!! @MATTYMATT726 will vouch for me,or you can check out my Mephisto Maniac thread!!! I was on the verge of throwing my BLUE TOOF SPECIAL away cause it didn't look like it was doing anything... And its a small structured plant!!! Top it and dont worry about it... It will show up and not disappoint you!!!

Naw ur ok mate, iv grew plenty autos, and ITS MY opinion that “sometimes” autos dont react very well due to there life span. Most autos go well past there stayed grow time. Its my opinion mate but hey ho ull know better

Not true... This is a statement that needs to stop being said... A plant is going to finish its cycle regardless of what you do to it... That goes for regs, fems and autos...
I don't disagree with you but he was asking about that specific plant whether he should top it and with only 2 nodes at 21 days I would not. Nothing was said about all autos just that one. You are completely correct that autos can be topped.

21 days if it has 4 nodes and starting 5th she's good to go for me. I won't top though if she's not full green and healthy along with that.
Sometimes I do,sometimes I don't... If it looks like it could take it early I'll do it... Just depends on how it looks to me...
I get that. Thought about that as well with this one being behind already. Likely will just LST this one.
