That's right...Smoke you need 20 hours or more of light to really do Autos justice.
A stunted auto... Those were some big buds tho!!!Gregzky..
Didnt take too much to find your primary problem...your transplanting..avoid transplanting autos..It can be done, but as I said, you run the risk if stunting.
Run your autos next time with the advice given and you'll have an entirely different ballgame!
cheersa
Mine were all done on18/6, shit im upper it to 20 hoursYou'll do okay with 18/6 for sure..however, your plant wont reach its potential...Mephisto Gentics for example runs a 24/0 cycle in house
24/0 for meMine were all done on18/6, shit im upper it to 20 hours
You're having a little too much fun, bro.Have a look at the 2 auto flowers. They are both the same age - one has popped and the other not so much. What do you think is going on with the little one?View attachment 4429447View attachment 4429448
Those autos were transplanted 3 times. From what I read that’s the problem. Autos can’t handle the shock.
KingrowWe dismiss this fact as troll bait now, autos handle transplanting very well in fact just the same as photos.
I transplant small to big autos fems regs and i see zero difference or stress
Im not good enough at ppfd v dli yet but would assume that autos on 20/4 - 24/0 need less pofd than those at 12/12 - 18/6.
Something ive been trying to get control of atm daily light intergral and all that seedlings at 100-200ppfd veg at 200-400ppfd..
Sometimes the roots get damaged in the transplant and that's what makes them take so long to recover... My best advice would be to plant in your final pot... That way you know that if your plant is growing slow its because of the size of the pot... Take this from the ADVANCED NEWB!!!We dismiss this fact as troll bait now, autos handle transplanting very well in fact just the same as photos.

Re:transplants
I have to disagree..transplants do make a difference to autos! Particularly, 3 transplants...
when you pop that auto seed..You've got a set time to build a structure on that plant before it begins to flower...Everyone has heard of transplantshock..whether it be disturbing roots, change in soil medium, pH or what have you..sometimes the plant will lag a day or so..sometimes longer..It all depends on the strain..some are less sensitive.
For a photo period, its not a concern as you're not on a stopwatch..You merely hold off changing the light cycle to induce flowering..
That said..additional stresses..LST, FIM, or what have you compounds the problem..
