Ok so today I brought a Vivosun 600w hps light to replace my 3 150w leds which were not the best lights by any means I didn’t buy them had them given to me so I have switched to the 600w which holy shit is a whole lot better but it’s getting pretty hot in my tent hitting 32 degrees Celsius and I’m a little worried just for some back story I’m in week 7 of flower with my white widow photo and week 1 or so of flower with my lemon haze photo and was just wondering if anyone had any advice I put a fan blowing directly into the hps bulb and have 2 other fans in my tent not sure what else I can do don’t have the money to go get a mini aircon or anything jarrastic so if it does get bad and as a very last resort I might have to switch back to the leds I did have a friend who was growing during flower with up to 39 degrees Celsius but it wasn’t every single day then again he didn’t do to bad nothing bad happened so any advice would be appreciated

The carbon filter fan? That runs out of the tent into the room
Simplest option next to buying a bigger extraction fan would be getting an air cooled hood.
If that doesn't do it then a bigger extractor.

Ideally you want the heat venting out of the house not into the same room where it may recirculate back into the grow room, but obviously not everyone can do that.

On top of that, shield your thermometer with a bit of white card so light doesn't hit it. (doesn't change air temp but it might give you a more accurate reading)

Can I use the same setup I have now and just change to a air cooled hood? And how much better are they

Yeah they would be good but I’m not in a very big grow space I don’t think I would hav enough room for the ventilation do cool tubes work well?
I have never used cool tubes.
I do ventilate a tent that is 3 feet x 3 feet similar to yours with an air cooled hood like the one shown above.
A cheap temporary fix for the heat might be to leave the front of the tent open if that's an option until you decide what to do.

I have a small tent with 400 HPS. My fan is outside the tent. I don’t have a filter on it. The intake air hose goes into the tent right by the light. This sucks out all the heat. Now this works but there no filter. So you can put it on the exhaust side/end. Or just blow it somewhere where another filter will take care of smell.

Yes you can, they remove about a 3rd of the heat directly.

Cool tubes lack a good footprint, you should be able to fit any hood in a 1mx1m tent and still have room for fan and filter. You can get XL wing cooltubes which are combo of tube but with a better reflective hood.

Do you have a photo of the way you got it set up just so I can see?
