I'd like to get in on this. I have a 150 gallon-ish soil bed so waiting to flip to flower is wasting precious time.

What are your experiences with 11/13 from seed? When do the plants start to flower?

I'm just starting to build up my own experience with 11/13 from seed. I'm sure it will be a while before I can offer much; other than links to other's experience. There is some decent content to be found online regarding 12/12 from seed, though. If you are interested I would just go down the online research rabbit hole then decide if it's something you want to try.

edit-
Just found this... He really nails it on explaining the virtues of 12/12 from seed. Pics included.

Germinated (1) Seedsman' Alaskan Purple Feminized (my first feminized) directly into 1/2 gallon fabric pot with coco/perlite mix; no water pre-soak, no wet paper towels... (another first for me). It took about 3-4 days. I'll either keep her in this 1/2 gal through harvest or up-size once or twice. I'll just see how that goes.

The old way of germination (soak overnight in water then into damp paper-towel method) always worked well for me but since it germinated doing it this way I look forward to trying it again just to save time and hassle on those first steps.

Here is some info on this strain- looks like there is at least a little Sativa in there :)

Let's call today day #1 from seed for this one.

*Update on Apollo Haze* - They are quickly showing the beloved white hairs and the non-beloved balls. Looks like I may have 5 of 10 being female from quick glance this morning. All look very healthy.

My yeilds were in line with his on my 12/12 girls. Approx 50g/plant average dried in the jar. Saved 6 hours around 3-4 weeks worth. Slimmer overall structure with taller/longer buds. Versus the full 3 week veg then flip which averaged 95g per plant dried in the jar but half the plants.

The best part of 12/12 was the ability to start at any time.

The worst part of it was using smaller pots. It required ALOT more attention to watering/feeding. Found in my setup to reduce nutrients in line with the increase in frequency of feeding due to smaller pot size.

Number 3 smart pots had relatively larger plants than number 2 pots. Didn't get to try a number 5. Curious at what size pot the increase in size of the plant levels out.

The worst part....
Number 3 smart pots might just be a sweet spot depending on how you want to set up and what strain you are growing. I have so much to learn and will keep to .5-1 gal fabric pots until I get the hang trying to keep seedlings through flowering beauties all happy in the same environment.

Here is a pic of the 4 females in 1/2 gal fab and 1 that I'm pretty sure is female in a 1 gal fab. So far so good with 11/13 from seed on these Apollo Haze, with supposed strong genetics (Brother's Grimm)

I removed most of the big fan leaves on (all) the Apollo Haze and LST'ed (2) of them as well. First time trying LST for me.

I may decide to top one or two of them as well but better get on it I am...

These girls have been healthy and kicking ass so I'll take care of them in the hopes they continue to thrive.
