Seems to me it has less diodes, not more. A HLG550 is 4 288's so it has 912 diodes, while the QB 648 Diablo has 666 diodes (weird number eh?) if you include the red diodes. So it’s just a Rspec with lower amount of reds and like 3x the ammount of diodes not sure about that but I am waiting for that rack light tho that’s gonna be exciting I hope
I'm guessing that a single QB666 will not be HLG's recommendation for a 4x4. They mention new 260w and 320w kits, which makes me think that one of these boards run soft is a 260, and run hard is a 320. That means two QB666s on the HLG650R, which means 1,332 diodes - a far cry more than the HLG550.Seems to me it has less diodes, not more. A HLG550 is 4 288's so it has 912 diodes, while the QB 648 Diablo has 666 diodes (weird number eh?) if you include the red diodes.
I agree on the spread. Seems like the reds are too far off-center. Could be wrong though? I guess they must have their reasons!dunno...not sure i like the spread? im probs wrong.
i just wanna see their new rack light...another white plus red panel is just another white plus red panel...isnt it?
i read that as that on the picture is ONE board, so they increased diodes by a lotSeems to me it has less diodes, not more. A HLG550 is 4 288's so it has 912 diodes, while the QB 648 Diablo has 666 diodes (weird number eh?) if you include the red diodes.
I was more comparing to one Rspec board not a whole 550 had to clarify this because I just saw it and it said more diodes per I should have said board but that’s what I meanSeems to me it has less diodes, not more. A HLG550 is 4 288's so it has 912 diodes, while the QB 648 Diablo has 666 diodes (weird number eh?) if you include the red diodes.
nice! wouldnt mind a tonne of those run really low...
Ahh, they're calling it the QB648+, not the QB666. I'm very curious about the dimensions.
