Will Trump beat Hitler in American deaths?

It's crazy to think about but Hitler managed to kill 418,500 Americans during WWII. Could Trump's actions lead him to surpass the highest American kill count ever?

I know, I know he didn't personally kill all those Americans, but Hilter's leadership did.

Trump praised his high ratings this week, I'm sure he will praise himself on a fine job when this is all done.

How many Americans need to die before it's people revolt on the government? Or is America too scared now of its government?

Yep, no problem, he'll double it, I'll go for an even million and a few Canadians thrown in too before he's done.
Most likely he'll kill more Americans than all their wars combined since the revolution, including the victims of 911. It's disgusting and everybody is going through waves of rage and disgust as the grim news becomes the reality on your own doorstep.

Revolt ? Pffft.

People didn't revolt when FDR incarcerated over 100.000 Japanese American citizens without due process during WWII , what makes you think the sheep got any smarter in the last 70 years ?

I'm sure the increase in racial discrimination will follow in the next couple of months. The Chinese look like an easy scapegoat for Trump.

Fascinating that you find this pandemic analogous to Hitler. Bizarre might be a better word.

Trump is mimicking many of the same strategies Hitler used to get into power. Another term with him at the helm and I can see Fascism raising it's ugly head south of my border.

I have faith in the American voter to make sure this does not come to pass.

Stay safe!

Agree. There is some really weird shit coming from the WH right now.

"we own the federal stockpile, not the states".

Kushner said it but Trump endorses it or he wouldn't have had his SIL on the stage with him.

Message being, "play nice because we have power of life or death over you". I don't really know what that kind of threat will do but I do know that threatening people gets their back up and draws resistance. Whether that resistance is pointed at Trump in a peaceful way in November or at Democrats who are, lets face it, tagged with leading the move toward social isolation remains to be seen. My guess, this summer we'll see some action, both against Trump and against Democrats.

Then there is the statement by Trump where he outright admitted that making it easier for people to vote in November means no Republicans can win. Combined with this relatively new development: Republicans oppose a lawsuit brought by Democrats who want to ease voting regulations for Wisconsin’s spring election because of the coronavirus. (What Democrats are seeking is lifting restrictions on photo ID at voting sites, lifting requirements for a photocopy of their ID on requests for mail-in ballots and extending the deadline for mail-in ballots.) One thing we can say about them, Republicans aren't being sneaky about restricting people's right to vote. They come right out and say it.

With most every action they make, whether its at the top or the state level, Republicans are working to keep fascist, minority control over this country. I think this epidemic deepens their desperation because they were depending on good economic numbers to prop them up and pave their way in to another four years of control in the Senate and the WH. That's gone, so, on to plan B.

I don't really know what's going to happen. My faith in the US voter was shaken in 2016. In 2018, we showed up in numbers and hit them hard. So, yeah, I have some faith too. On the other side, old age and treachery is working against us.

Good thing we have @Bugeye for comedic relief.

Suppressing the media and controlling them is a classic fascist tactic.

“You Just Asked Your Question In A Very Nasty Tone”: Donald Trump Lashes Out At CBS News Reporter’s Query About Jared Kushner

“Why are you asking me? What’s that a gotcha? A gotcha? You use the word ‘our.’ Our — you know what our means? The United States of America,” he said. “That’s what it means. Our. Our. The United States of America. Then we take that our and we distribute it to the states.”

Very king like too. "Our" means the USA. I suppose he'll also use "we" in the same way.

Save your scraps to beat the japs!
Also what I find funny is isis using ordinance for ieds and their a possibility they were stabilized with bacon grease, kinda contradicting isn’t it? (I don’t know when they stopped using it, unless it was just for ww11 due to shortages, still funny to think about
