Great job! Everything looks super green and healthy. They're gunna be some monsters.
56watts per square foot, sweet! That'll produce some top shelf nugs.

I'm in Ontario too, I've got 2 blueberry cough and 2 blue lights which will be planted outside during the last week of May.
Here's a pic of what they look like now.

Thanks! Those are a good size for sure not to familiar with the strains but ..yeah luckily the grow stores are open around here to get pro mix! do you plant in pots outside or in the ground ?

Such a nice feeling having decent sized plants at this time of spring wife doesnt want the plants reaching over the fence but that will happen by mid july lol alotnof ambient light around here at night but going to give it a shot anyway

Yeah, good thing we can still get promix! 2 are going directly in the ground and 2 will be going into 600 gallons pots:shock:.

Lol all the neighbours will see the mexican tomatoes growing over the fence.

One important lesson from last spring, really stake and support them well at time of transplanting them outside. If not the wind will knock them over and snap branches.

600 gallons? Was that a typo? If not we must be talking like a water tank or something wow that's huge ! My plan is to excavate my holes by taking approx a bale of soil out of the ground and re mix with perlite and maybe some worm castings but not to familiar with all that ammendment stuff I am justa few years into growing so still learning .

Those look great and yeah all of these will be quite the spectacle come this August/september Michigan eh never been there oh wait maybe I crossed over years and year ago to a restaurant in the soo .

I am from sault ste marie ont originally as a child I lived across the channel from Ssm Michigan would always hear stories of booze and firework runs to brimley ..

Anyway I am thinking in my area hoping for may 24 to plant outside running some.new genetics (ethos) which apparently can finish on time so .

Last year this was my first outdoor plant screwed up royally got infected with PM last month and clipped all the fans which I wont do again .very primitive training but learned alot !

Chocolate haze ...

lol not a typo, they're huge.
Last year, I grew a cookies n chem from greenpoint seeds and it didn't finish until the end of October. Which was a bit too late for me.
Sounds like you have a good plan, worm castings are great.

Obv depends on the strain and I am a newer grower few years in so ...but usually they go out late may and start flowring around mid August and finish end of september beginning of october but obviously the weather plays a big role in that !

What strains do you have there ?

I got a blue dream 2 northern lights and a galodo og. Been struggling with over watering, growing tempatures and poor quality grow light. I havnt killed them yet tho! Ive learned alot, but the biggest lesson is it's very hard to grow with a half assed setup lol

Yeah I am no expert by any means but I basiclaly use pro mix no nutrients in soil really... every watering I use cal mag and add feed like every 3rd watering sometimes more ...I dont water until the pot is super light and leaves are dropping

Yeah always wanted to try northern lites and I hea blue dream is an easier strain to grow .

Your plants look nice and healthy to me !

Yeah I originally started with leds off Amazon then I switched to hps/mh and things have been good since bought all my lighting used ...

I also have a 4ft t5 light high output pulls around 200 watts and it does a great job for seedlings up to a foot tall now I use it in my veg tent with a 400 mh

You will be in good shape with outdoor planting anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks away those will be a good size for sure ..

Are you planning on planting them in the ground outside or pots or ?

Yeah my guess is your plants will outgrow the 7 gallon before flowering time in August/September ...I would go with at least 10 to 15 or 20 gallon ...you can buy fabric pots on amazon or grow store fairly cheap ...but you can always see how it goes if you notice your watering twice as much and the pots are going dry in 1 day instead of 2 or 3 then you know it's time to transplant usually .

Hey everyone!

Not sure what I have for my 5 plants, but I started with a mixed feminized seed bag with:
  • God bud
  • Grand Daddy Purps
  • Tuna Kush
  • G13 Haze
I was a little later planting than I would have liked, but I have 2 weeks and a bit since they sprouted. They're currently under a "1200W" LED in the garage, not sure what it actually puts out but it seems to be working decent. I'll let them veg there for a bit then I'll put them outside. Growing these babies in central BC.

Good luck and happy growing peeps.

Cheers,

Dz

Deezus

Are you planting in the ground or in pots outside ? How long of a season do you get in bc or is it very alike to ontario ?

Plants go out may 24 and start flowering in August and finished by October (hopefully)

Bruce banner 3 days after topping !
Really.hoping this plant produces this summer I mean I am aiming for a few pounds off her but I am.no pro so I would be happy with 1lb plants as well .
