When to harvest?

So I have 2 plants, its my first time growing, im growing c99 and ive had them in fox farm ocean forest soil giving them FF trio nutrients, ive cut out all nutes a couple weeks ago and have been giving them nothing but water, thrichomes are all pretty milky, about 80% of the pistils have turned orange and curled in, i was thinking in about a week they will be good to harvest, was looking for some reassurance, i dont have the best camera ir magnifying glass, i wish i coukd put better pics on but what do you guys think?

looks like you got a couple weeks, depending on what your after. Clear truchomes are no good, wait for them all to be cloudy at the least. I like mine with 20% amber 80% cloudy.

I still see a lot of clear too. Plus the tric heads will swell much more as they fill with thc. They will look like fat headed mushrooms. Lol. Idk how else to explain it.

I leave town august 16th so if i want to give them a week to dry then i need to harvest in 7-8 days, think i should be fine by then? Im not as worried about getting the best buds as possible i just wanna make sure i harvest in the harvest window and not like way too early or way too late

trichomes will tell you where your at. Lookin at pics its pretty iffy if just a week is enough, but sometimes we gotta go a bit early for unforseen circumstances. It happens

From the pics it appears that will be pretty early. Trichs in those pics are not developed. How long in flower? As in... since she actually made flowers, not when you flipped her?? I am thinking 2-3 weeks. However, if ya have to go and ya ain't worried about it.. then ya chop when is necessary.

Agree, I'd start flushing in 10 to 14 days if it was me.

I guarantee nothing; if you want the best buds possible then try to wait as long as is possible to chop them down. Drying could take up to 9 or 10 days; might be tight

@Richard Drysift @PadawanWarrior @Queen2Green @Gorillabilly heres some updated pics, got a better microscope, its a little blurry but you can definitely see amber trichs, id say theyre about 10-15% amber trichs and the rest are milky, what do u guys think?

NO NO NO NO NO! Don't harvest yet man. I'd give them another couple weeks or so just looking at the bud. I didn't even look at the trichs. It's too early. Please don't chop it yet. The person who said to chop now doesn't get it.

U sure? Ive had 4 other experienced growers say its ready? What sticks out to you that tells you its not ready?

Ya, I'm sure, unless you intentionally wanna harvest early. The pistils haven't receeded, and the calyxes haven't swollen.

How will it effect it harvesting a week early? I leave town in 13 days and want to make sure i have time to dry, the buds look fire, am i still gonna get stoned smoking it or does that one week make a huge difference
