Whys it too late to transplant?

You can either risk a little time/growth with a transplant (possibly none)... or you can keep it in there and risk your whole yield.

Iunno, up to you though brotha.
So wait if I actually transplanted her do you think it would actually make a difference? I am almost 3 weeks into flowering and she is about 2 months old overall. She has been in the cup the whole time and doing quite well.

So I am not worried about the health issue of growing in the cup, but do you think it would increase yield significantly? I currently do not have any proper soil to grow in, so I'd have to take care of that. Just wanted to make sure it's worth my time. I always thought it would be a waste to transplant at this point in the stage.

That plant is 2 months old? Damn.. I dont know what to say about it. It's environment is totally off. My plants are half the age and about 20 times as lush. I guess keep on with how you're doing it.. You might be able to get a few joints out of it :)

So.. figured I would hit the party thread to tell you guys this story/idea.

Some of you may remember when I needed bigger pots for my plants... and people had suggested (great ideas) of getting SQUARE pots rather than circle pots.. I went to homedepot in search for some, but low and behold I could not find any that would fit in my box....

HOWEVER, this brings us to the second part of the story/idea...

My girl and I went to an office supply store for some photo paper... I was walking down an aisle in the store and BAM it hit me...
What is square... deep.. and could work is a great pot?

A fucking office GARBAGE CAN! I could line up 3 of those fuckers next to eachother in my box... Plus, it's deep..

Drill some holes in the bottom.. BAM... So sick and Im totally using this idea on my next grow.

Ok...I have a great idea.
Read up growing 'soma bed style'
layers(starting at bottom working up
first layer:clay pebbles
then coated chicken wire
then that fabric cloth that stops keeps roots from going through it
then your soil, a good one would be FFOF with 20%perlite
it has 4 pvc pipes, one in each corner that run all the way down to in the middle of the clay pebble layer
it brings lots of oxygen to the roots

this is the way that soma grows his strains for competions and photos.
those are a deep enough planter to do so...

Awesome! I meant overlapped as in they will get bushy enough to where you can't put the pots right next to eachother because the plant leaves will get in the way of eachother.

Oh... yeah.. I think even with 3 (in my instance) they would only be as overlapped at the 2 I have now... Or like Drains mentioned, maybe a SOG would work well with it?

Iunno... I think the idea rocks. Never wouldve thought of a trashcan being a planting pot before this :)
