Why doens't everyone have an indoor raised bed?

I will be doing my 1st indoor grow this winter. Been growing outdoors othewise.

For me I intend to rotate my plants. Allowing the light to get to all the parts of the plant equally. I would think this is a common daily practice amongst indoor growers. Open tent when lights come on and rotate plant 1/4 of a circle.

Raised bed would make that impossible. A turntable of sorts could be put on the light i suppose but that might be a bit much lol.

It's not really complicated, no air pump, just light and tray

9 plants in pic, It still has room for 7 (1/2 gallon) pots, just waiting to finish it vegging. I can max it to 21 plants.

I dig the outfit but i sworn to myself to never date asian girls, please forgive me im not racist at all but the plastic surgeons do miracles this aeon.

A giant lazy susan could be had/made depending in the size of the soil bed. I never really cared to rotate my plants. A packed tent would be tedious to me, and a single plant monster would be near impossible. I dont use bulbs anymore tho

When you see a lot of them, you can sorta tell who had surgery. But some people you'd never guess

Where would runoff go? What do you do when its time to flush? What about when you harvest can how will you remove the roots whole lot of shoveling

i will openly confess i have pondered this common bed idea for some time. i can report that when growing two plants in a large pot of super soil one plant tends to dominate the other and yield more, however, total yield did not lower so perhaps it was averaging out. i firmly disagree with moving growing plants. perhaps it’s just some voodoo hocus pocus but I feel that the plants are connected to geomagnetic north and moving them is not natural, causing them shock as they must “regrow/realign” to account for the magnetic change. a raised bed would offer lots of space for scrogging a higher number of smaller plants. i’ve never heard this to be recommended though, and i’ve never seem successful pics either. i would be grateful to hear from anyone who has either tried this method, or has good reason to avoid it.

If someone is gonna use a huge planter....Why move the planter when it's easier to move the lights? Get a light mover.

I used one a while ago so I could get the lights right on top of the canopy. It worked great. Still have it.

Many People do grow indoors in raised beds some people also just jackhammer the floor out of there basement/cellar dig it out and put good soil in and grow in that i think the reason why you dont see it as often is cos it takes more time to set up and unless you got lots of space it can be harder to work around otherwise it can work good its just down to the grower really and personal preference obviously the jackhammering out basement floors isnt exactly super stealth but its not a bad way to go if you can and wanna lol
