When should i harvest??

Hey there peeps, im nearing the end of my first ever grow!. Im using a 250 watt cfl and the strain is Big Bud Northern Lights, i need some advice on when to harvest, i want a couch lock stone lol :). Ive been flowering for about 7 weeks now and about 50% of the hairs are brown, also id like to know when i should start flushing her, here are some pics. thanks :)

flush now my freind. wait until the trichs (crystals) are 50% amber (not the hairs). see many environmental conditions can change the hair color before it is ripe. late

start now. water twice the normal amount today or with your next watering and use nothing but distilled water for 2 weeks maaaaan.

Hello Mate!!!
I think u can give water in the last week, but you have more 2 weeks to go....
Flush not everyday, and the water just in the last week you gonna give!
And you can change to 14/10 to, in the last weeks!!!

cheers for the replys guys, ive never heard of changing the light cycle to a slightly longer one when flowering, i thought this confused the plant and can sometime force it hermie/stress it out. Ive started flushing now, gonna give twice the amount whenever it looks dryish, ill post some pics up when its done, im so excited! As i say this is my first grow and i dont think ive done too bad tbh! :D peace

Nice looking plant... You should start flushing right now since it will be ready to harvest in about 10 days. You can indicate when its ready by the pistils, 3/4 of the pistils are brown means its heady to harvest.

harvest at night man, the plant stored its nutrients and water in the roots at night while it sleeps. it helps to cut down on drying time a little bit.

NO !!! U DO NOT GO BY THE 3/4 of the pistils are brown means its heady to harvest. your picking yours to early, must be harsh

im gonna go by the trichs, ive got a good microscope and have been checking them regulary, right now id say there mostly cloudy, some amber :)

hey guys, theres still quite a few clear trichs, is this normal or should i wait for there to be no clear trichs?
