I know. It sounds like i'm talking shit. This pic is OUTDOOR grown bud that was picked after ONLY 5 weeks in flower and it had been frozen solid by frost sept 17th or 18th and it was battered by hurricane dorian, AND it was infested by borer beetle larvae all summer. !00% serious dude.

I was argue’ing with a bunch of chumps a few weeks ago about how watering practices makes a world of difference in your final product, how you run your wet/dry cycle is key IMO... also not overfeeding that’s a big one.. umm genetics and your medium and environment is big keys as well.. how you prune b4 transition n afterwards is good.. then your nutrients play a bit of a role too I guess

They said there’s no viable proof that a perfect dry cycle maxes your thc content lol, alrite budddaaay keep your medium soaking wet all the way thru flower i’l be over here wit the FIRE smoke you can have your green tasting crap that has no bag appeal

I’m not even mid flower that’s day 30 I just took those pics, I’m fighting the temperature spikes cuz I’m running two 600w HPS an even tho their cool tubes outside it’s a lot of ducting man to get all that hot air out.. it’s in the basement n I have the screen window open at the top of the stair to let the cool air in today an it’s freezing outside wit shit weather, and it’s still only 78 sumtimes it’s 84 when I check on it anim like fuuuuckkk . That happens daily lately I have to figure sumthing out today is good tho.. c how my fan is maxing out @10 speed? That’s a good thing I blast it on 10 fer 12 hrs a day wile lights r on, then dim it to 7-8 when lights go out so my temps dont drop so dramatically from 79 to 65 n less.. it circulates air wide open =more co2 for the plants per hour .. =bigger nugz every time boissss

its all coming back to me now, The Rose came from Friesland, the strain my buddy had - TheRose was Friesland X Powerline? or was it Friesland X AK-47 - if the name 'The Rose' rings a bell for anyone (outdoor grows, Northwestern Ontario) what was it exactly.
We crossed it with Blueberry and the new strain was born (my username) we tried it the following season and it was a monster yielder. Big resinous, fragrant buds, even did her indoor for a while, until I gave up the hobby for parenting.20200704_222316.jpg

It's commonly believed that Freezeland is a cross of Friesland and Pluton. It is local to Quebec and is most commonly known (to me) as Freezeland, Freezeline, or simply Freeze.

Currently trying BeanHoarder's Durban Poison x Big Freeze now. I can let you know how it goes. (Available@Hemp Depot)
5 Lemonade OG x freezeland (tallest plant seems to be a few inches below 7ft I stand 6’1 so I got a pretty good reading lol , and a 3 patch of DFG (tallest plant 6’6ft)

ahhh... this is on page 2 "new-guy"... the strain originated from Quebec. Still wanting a clone?
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=190239
here is a link to an icmag post showing a catalogue scan from the SuperSativaSeedClub's 1988/89 menu showing Friesland spelled correctly and M39 side by side. SSSC is the actual seed company where Friesland and M39 both originate. Fuck Quebec. There's simply NO argument that you could make man, you're just barfing misinformation into this thread.

Friesland was a strain offered by Sssc in the 80s. I grew one female gorilla no help and it flourished and was giant. Lost all due to mold and stupidity as it was my first grow with store bought seeds from Amsterdam.

I have some interest in trying Freisland again. I forgot to mention that the friesland I grew as a young man was topped at 3 or 4 node and had the thickest stock of any plant I have grown since by far. Thick as some of the pictures of 10 lbs plants on here. I think I could have sawed a good 4 X4 post out of it. Where should I look for seeds.

First and foremost, Beanhoarder has a few crosses as well as his worked version of it. Then there's Swami Organic Seed, with his M33 crosses. AK Bean Brains has some and so does Kwik Seeds

The original breeder "Super Sativa Seed Club" reopened like last year and have 1 strain called Lava Freeze = Friesland Indica x Lava Cake. They're listed on Attitude

I think at this time in history with all the problems in the world it is best to stay domestic to help each other. I will look at Swami again. I would prefer female seeds. I have to reduce my risk and still after all these years so I am Gorilla only.
