My first Hermie! Will this affect the entire plant?

I just harvested a cola from my feminized Nirvana Tangie, let it dry, and went to sample it this morning. Lo and Behold.....seeds! If you ever see little balls showing up at the base of your branches like this.....beware!

I’m taking this plant out of my tent and harvesting today. Here’s my question. Will I have seeds throughout this plant or will it be limited to a few branches?

Those BALLS are Calyx, female parts

You probably have nanners someplace else

Was she stressed?
Thank you! I was seeing these calyx everywhere. It just looked different than any other plant I’ve grown.

I was intentionally stressing her with some UVB exposure during the last 2-3 weeks. I noticed one banana about a week ago on a tall cola closest to the UVB lamp. Didn’t see any others. I’m just hoping I’m not picking seeds out of this entire harvest.....although I’ll do it if I have to.

Sorry bro. Sometimes we push them too hard. At least you know what it was and how to fix it.

Interesting

Guess I'll go with good weed, normal Trics, and NO SEEDS!!

But that's me
Yep....I agree with you Bob!

Actually, this strain hermied on another member. Perhaps it was a combination of the stress and the unstable strain. I’m not sure, but I’ll probably turn off the UVB lamps for now.

Thanks for the help!

I suggest stopping pulling seeds while it's growing.

1 they are immature. Much easier to get out when matured.

2 you are just causing damage to good bud doing that in the middle of flower.

They are already there. Make your life easier and let it finish and then pick them out.

At what stage are the seeds most viable ?

Experienced this with my last plant. Have yet to find another seed in a bud!
