Ok. N thank you. But just for the fck of it. Go back n read n see which lights I was saying had no driver. Gnite bro. And yes, I was speaking completely about the wrong light. He was askin about a different light altogether. SMH

I was thinking more along the line of "bosch" fuel injectors. There is a hundred Chinese companies selling the "Bosch" style. And they look, fit and function the same. But the quality isnt always there. Dont get me wrong. I got a china turbo for my race truck lol

They can be lying about that? They repeat over and over they ARE those diodes...

Good vegging light for a small area and they state 2’ square coverage. I’d only use it as supplemental in flower.

Hop on Alibaba and shop for the lm301b dioides. I have because I have a couple dead lm301b infared diodes in chinese lights i need to replace. Theres at least a dozen manufacturers making the lm301b in china. It is the diode design, fit and function that names them an lm301b, not who manufactured it. Most genuine Samsung stuff is manufacured in Taiwan. Not china.

$79 price point and actual 100 wattage draw? + free shipping. I would be shocked if their using authentic mw driver & Sammie chips @ a profit

Lots of Amazon sellers got busted using blue/purple diodes instead of uv-c(250-280nm) in those cheap "sanitizing" products..... Taking advantage during these Covid times.

Well shiat. That sucks if true. Flat out false advertising. But, I pulled the gun, want to check them out. I have a SP1000D, the shittier version of the 100 watt Spider Farmer board (that does NOT use either the meanwell drivers or the LM301Bs or whatever), so I will see how it compares to that. If it can't beat that we know it was false advertising. I'll do some comparisons and get some pics for the forum, hopefully adding a little bit to our core knowledge ha.

Actually what they are doing is using it as a model number, but many pot heads are clueless morons and think it's the power rating, and sellers know this, it's why they all do it, cause it sells their product.

The Actually power draw is always clearly stated, as it has to be by law.

But right next to it is the actual power draw. I guess they get away with it because that's the "incandescent bulb equivalent"?
