bro that light is pulling 83w.
i wouldnt even use that as side lighting.
you need a better light. 100%
if youre looking for cheaper decent leds look up aglex or phlizon. its not what id recommendusually but if youre looking for a decent cheap light then....ya
cheap lights use cheap drivers and cheap leds that dont produce strong enough light in proper spectrum and very low penetration eg par drops out fast. dont beleive a word led companies say like 1000w equivalent.
the numbers generally beside the name of the light are just bs numbers used for model numbers. not wattage equiv.
the light you have is likley the equivalent of a 100w hid. if that.
instead. look up lights that use reputable drivers (meanwell) and good leds. (samsung, bridgelux, epistar,) look for an led that runs at a lower % then what its rated for. eg. a 3watt led running at 3w is running 100% power making the light hotter than it should be and in turn itll burn out fast. look for an led like 10w running at like 6w each.
eg dual leds @10w running 60% power 6w each so 12w per led. instead of your 1led running 100% @ 3w. dig it?
theres alot of misinformation about leds. and many people dont understand the diff between a 1000 dollar led vs a 50 dollar led. trust me. theres a diff.
