The thing is I’m using a 4-4-4 so unless it’s ph related it’s not a def. the plant is too dark to be short on nutrients. One thing I’ve leaned. I’m not chasing this 7 weeks into flower.

Pro mix is coco? I bought a bag of HP Pro mix for my first grow but everything died. I later found out I needed perlite. It didn’t have very much. I still have it. And some perlite.

Pro Mix = sphagnum moss
Home Depot, Pro mix /Sunshine #4

also contains Mycrorrhizae

Edit: Sunsjine has perlite in it, can add more but not needed

LOL, yes you did. I just hate when morons bring this crap to the journal section. People need to have a safe place to show their journals without dealing with that type of negativity. We also need folks to show the bad and not just cherry pick the good. We learn more from mistakes than successes and people need to feel confident enough to show both sides.
Yeah like I said I’m a dick on here sometimes and troll sometimes. So whatever. I posted in his journal (with solutions) so he can post here unless he turns into a complete A hole.

Funny thing I’m sure organic growers would not even consider this an organic grow. So whatever :bigjoint:
I like your style even if it is indoor!- haha, jk.
I try to keep my soil as organic as possible and just started trying some mixes and top covers with EWC.
I use electric lights to supplement but mostly smaller-type LED bulbs, in multiples- your 80$ rig would probably be better worth it methinks.
I still consider it organic- as much as thrice-washed vegetables in a plastic container at the supermarket are!

one thing i've read about some of these ferts (not sure if Jobe is one), is that they don't always have the 16 micros and macros needed for cannabis.

it was on a thread here with uncle ben and fatman (they both really know ferts)
a lot of us got in the habit of using bioag tm-7 many years ago for this very reason. I usually just give it a week before flip, then once per week for 2 more weeks-it really seems to help any grow, organic, mineral salts, and any medium. I've been on a heavy metal kick lately and tm-7 has a little arsenic in it, so I'm on the lookout for a totally clean micronute sup. Lowest heavy metals one I can find is the Alaska brand micro-nute supplement, so I might give that a shot next time.

I don’t have a place to “cook” soil properly nor do I have space for a compost bin outside. That’s kinda what I wanted to do at first.

Here’s what’s in the veg tent. I found this in the deals thread for $89 delivered. If you guys are looking for cheap small lights to veg with. Check the deals thread.

says it’s flowers a 3x3 but I won’t push my luck with that claim.

Use coco like a real man
Shit- I just made some nice top-dress from coco, ewc, and horse-tail tops. The ht is high in silica (needs to break down) but the needle-leaves provide good texture/aeration as well, similar to coco- so I’m surmising! Will see.
If you ever get horsetail stay away from using the roots!- shit spreads quick, but okay if cut up.
At least I can source ht from my yard (unlike coco) like a real hippie, I

i figured. Could kinda tell by your setup you’d probably do some outdoor or mixed like me if you had the space. I was fortunate* to have inherited the couple acres I grew up on (*not that the folks dying was “fortunate”).
Started growing first-time last year and was mixing my soil in a hydro-style (I think?) 4x2 tub thing (with a dome) I found in the yard. Cleaned it up this past winter and started my plants in it.
Anyhow- you got a nice grow. Stay crafty and have fun. I can’t stop wanting to turn everything into a setup, haha.

Yeah that was probably me. With Jacks, the 2 part is pretty clean, but you just need to look up their other products one by one because some of them aren't great, but Jack's and General Hydro are really some of the best mineral salt nutes in terms of heavy metal content. For example, the tm-7 has more arsenic than either of those products.

That link show the light is $179. Either way I think it is safe to say that cheap lights have come a long way. That light does not look bad at all.

Just do it man, seriously. Anyone comes along causing you grief just flag them and the admins will clean out the trash. The journal section is for this very purpose and you should not feel hesitant. As BK said, show the good, the bad bad and the ugly. You can learn a ton from doing that.
