Forgot to add ny start date of flowering guessing at week 6 or 7

Should I start flush I think I'm in weeks 6 to 7 trichomes are clear with cloudy, pistols have been changing over the last 2 weeks. It is stardawg and breeder states 9 weeks. They are struggling to now hold weight doing the best I can to keep them going. Any advice thanks

Ino its not ready yet ino how trichomes work so I guess il wait till there all cloudy then begin a flush atleast they will have a week to then start going amber.. prob the best way. Its hard with hps I tried to open the pictures an take a snapshot to get closer but it didn't do much better.

Ignore what the breeder states. The plant will finish when it finishes. That second pic is full of white pistils. I don't care what the trichomes look like that plant is weeks away. Just taper off the feeding until harvest.

Thanks for the reply 30 percent of pistols have charged and ino its not ready just struggling to work out where I am. I'm in coco so flushing I only need a week. Hopefully in a couple weeks time il know when to flush I hope just don't want them going way over. As I don't want couch lock.

I wait until 100% of the pistils have changed except for some strains that just keep spitting out new pistils as long as you leave them.

If you don't want couchlock then grow a strain that doesn't have those properties and harvest when it's done. Harvesting based on trichomes for a head or body high leads to harvesting early by those that don't want the so called couch lock. Early harvesting reduces yield and quality.

And you don't need to flush. Just taper down to 1/4 strength nutrients by harvest.

Thanks again some good tips there I've also started using cha ching that I've had given me. Been told to start using this in the final weeks.. which I'm at, just not sure what week.. so with this it does say until harvest but its a very high concentration of 9.50.10 hoping it doesn't burn my plants. Ph is 5.8 but the ppm was quite high. I've gave one feed I f ok in the next week I will give one more. Will be plain water for the rest of the week unless they like it I may give a normal boost feed.

Not a fan of those high phosphorus additives. They can lead to an inferior final product and cause nutrient issues. I only run base nutrients. All those bottled additives are mostly a waste of money and can lead to issues and crispy fried plants. Just feed a balanced feed from start to finish, keep the plants healthy, and you'll get better yield and quality than dumping a bunch of stuff on them.
 
Yh I wouldnt have gone an brought it bit was given for free so will aww how it goes... I usually only use a standard feeding schedule but hey I guess it won't hurt to see I've only given a 1/4 strength of the recommended dose. Just to be safe as it is really high.. Will update here in a week an let you know how they got on with it.

Every pistol is brown also trichomes are now at around 40 percent amber. id say there definitely ready now, by the time Friday comes they may be around 50 percent. Tbh there is alot more amber than you can see in the pictures taken. Thanks

That plant isn't ready. I get that you are keen to harvest it, but it'll be better if you are patient. I am in exactly the same boat as you at the moment. I have a couple of Sweet Zombie plants in week 8 at the moment. According to the breeder they should be ready now, but they aren't. I reckon you are at least a week away, maybe 10 days or more. If you harvest now you are throwing away potency. But it is your plant, you must do what you think is best.

It looks well ready what is it that tells you it isn't? All pistols are red now and trichomea are around 5p percent amber.. the pictures are a few days old so really should of took some more today. From what I've read up once there turning amber it's degrading so I'm not sure why people are saying there not done. Also this is an 8 week strain with 4 600 watt hps lights. Flowering count from day of first pistols so now they are on give or take a week about week 10/11. Thanks for all your help guys but I think they have to come down now.
