Should you cut off fan leaves during flower( a simple poll just yea or no please)

No it's better to leave the damn fan leaves on so that photosynthesis can occur which is what makes food for the damn plant.

Cutting off the fan leaves is nothing like LST or trellising. You should take some time and learn the basics about how plants grow. How they process sunlight to make the food needed for growth. More food equals bigger flowers. Start with photosynthesis and go from there.

Trust me the buds that get the most light will always be the biggest and best.

What I've noticed is buds that don't get much light will have a high leaf to bud ratio. Big colas directly beneath the lights are always the easiest to trim. This leads me to believe that the photosynthesis process that is driving bud production is happening on site. If a bud is getting direct light, it is capturing and converting it in its own leaves, not neighboring leaves. If it were the other way around all of the buds would be fairly equal in size and quality.

I have trimmed many leaves off these, more trying to let light down some and let ventilation through. The fan leaves at the bottom do yellow and then brown, these all get removed as well. I try to leave as many on as possible though on top of the canopy, just seems to make the most sense that they are providing life to the plant overall. I believe there is a big difference between hydro indoors under high power lights and growing outdoors as well.
