Also wanted to mention that the 36 hrs of darkness at flip isn’t a thing, I think there might be confusion with the suggestion from some to leave plants in darkness for two of three days at chop time - some say it causes the plants to give one last gasp of resin production.
This run I tried gradually reducing the daylight hours by an hour a day for a week or so - now onto 12/12 as of today, plants started throwing pistils about half way through, they seem to be stoked. The idea behind the gradual flip is to lessen the impact of what can be a stressful/demanding time for the plant. You can certainly just flip from veg light cycle to a 12/12 overnight though without issues.
