Well until the Globalist got their claws into the USA we got by fine without an income tax or a Federal Reserve. All we have now is a Welfare/Warfare state that has to have your tax dollars. And FED that has to cause inflation to cover their ASSetts and provide funds to skim.

I'm also not a fan of globalism with a country that's as big as the US. It's fine for a small country where economic isolation really isn't practical, though. But, this is a separate topic from a socialized gov't. If you want a Rob Roy type of society where all gov't funding comes from donations, that's fine, just be prepared for what essentially amounts to greatly reduced strength. To me, wanting a capitalist gov't while complaining about not doing more to control china's growth, is in significant unreconcilable conflict.

Nobody said donations. Taxes and tariffs were levied. As it is now our taxes and the FED are a swindle that leads to the corruption in our government. The US went to an income tax to pay for war.
I think you say it when you're against a socialized gov't. If it's not socialized(funded through taxation) and it's not capitalist(funded through donations), then what are you looking for? If you complain about taxes to fund war, because...you know...tanks and warships don't grow on trees, then the money must either come from somewhere(donations/taxation) or from nowhere(i.e. have a country with no ability to defend itself).
