Journalist use unnamed sources all the time it doesn't mean their lying it means the source did not want there name public "deapthroat" ring a bell. I definitely believe a mccain aide did actually leak this story..............now the mccain person could have been lying thats a different story, but from Sara palins past comments its very easy to believe.
By the way she never denied them she said that she must have been taken out of context

I do not recall saying "all these different news outlets just made that shit up out of thin air." That's your interpretation of what you assume I believe. I do believe there is a desire among the news media to latch onto anything unfavorable to Palin. The MSMBC hoax is a fine example. They knew the Africa story would be accepted as truth if they could find a source willing to come forward. They were so desperate to prove the Africa story true they did not properly vet the source who did come forward.
With the original Africa story one news source relied on an unnamed source and the rest of the media ran with it.
Even high school newspaper student-reporters know the risk of using unnamed sources, which are unreliable by definition.
