ThanksWell done!
When your trying to concentrate growth to stems yes it is… otherwise all the concentration is on the leaves and not the bulking of the stemLeaf stripping is not necessary when mainlining, and the reason they look like that at 3 months. Mainlining by itself slows down veg alittle but not like a lack of leaves
My stems have always grown fine with leaves. Your slow growth can be attributed to the plant continuously needing to heal, and attempting to regrow leaves so it can continue to survive and finish its lifecycleWhen your trying to concentrate growth to stems yes it is… otherwise all the concentration is on the leaves and not the bulking of the stem
That is a long veg though I see the point behind it... I vegged my mainlines for 8 weeks and now after 8 weeks of flowering, they are getting floppy. I had to tie 5 colas up yesterday afternoon and secure another 5 against impending flop.3 months to get to that? No thanks. I'd already be getting close to harvesting some nice big plants in that amount of time. And you still have to spend months flowering. It might look neat but seems like a complete waste of time to me. Others might feel differently and that's fine if they want to spend twice as long to end up with the same amount of weed.
The only reason I'd spend that much time growing some plants is if they were long flowering sativas that take 16-20 weeks to flower.
Your grow. Your show. But I don't think the end result will justify the amount of time spent.
