Thanks you.

Breeder says “flowering start when switching to 12/12” and “After 55–60 days, she will have finished flowering and be ready to harvest.”

then there are all those grow journals with 8-9 weeks flowering / harvest: what about those?? Are they all harvested to early ??

95-98% of those buds were cut early.

Not finishing in 8 to 9 weeks from flip. Maybe 8 to 9 weeks after the 2 or 3 week transition.

To be honest I can’t navigate around that site at all it’s so difficult on an iPhone.

if this is anything to go by then yea they are harvesting early.

From what I did find they are also taking about harvesting with 5% Amber blah blah.

this also is an interpretation.

It depends where on the plant they are looking?

Buds or leaves?

How anyone could say 5% 10% etc is beyond me.

Once you’ve grown plants to ripeness where YOU like them to be you won’t even need to see trichomes any more because you can tell when it’s there.

calyx become almost hardened with a point, it looks swollen and full. You won’t see any white pistils. The whole bud will take on a slight colour change To a more golden look rather than green.

is that bud ready ?
That bud does not look healthy. Why is the plant so pale yellow and pink!

If that plant was grown healthily all the way through it would not look like that.

you may get some natural colour change Happening but it shouldn’t look like that.

that’s what early senescence looks like IMO probably caused by following a calendar and not just growing the plant, most likely used excessive PK boosters along with “flushing” before harvest.

Those photos are from this journal, try to look in a tablet , like me. Then the site works.
