Humble beginnings....!
Welcome to the start of your journey. It's a fun (and long) one! We all started somewhere!. Mind you. You tube is prob the last place I'd be looking. There's alot of great growers in here that'd be glad to steer you in the right direction. Good luck!
Tips:. Start low and slow. Don't feed heavy and don't water too much
As a noobie, don't count on anything! You're likely to make mistakes. It's ok. Part of learning. Worst thing is to count on having that weed. Count on not having it, and if you get something then BONUS!
Dont worry about yeilds, and advanced techniques.. learn about them but don't use them yet! Just grow a couple plants and get the hang of it, then you can take the training wheels off.
Don't let your ego take hold (I can grow one I can grow 100). Growing 1 plant vs 2 vs 10 is a big diff. Get a good understanding of things first and you'll have far greater success.

Ps. You have a pot plant

I'm guessing you live in or near a river basin with beautiful black loam? I grew up in such a location I remember my parent's veggie gardens growing like crazy and little fertilizer was needed. Sadly, by the time I started growing weed I had moved away and I still wonder what kind of plants I could've grown in that stuff.
For your seedlings, get yourself a 20W LED seedling light or better yet, a propagation dome with a heat mat and T5 light. They will be happy and much less leggy. Best of luck you are off to a helluva start!

Thanks for the memories! First plant I ever saw someone grow was just like this. Good times.
Good luck! I hope you get where you want to be.
The first plant I ever saw was 10 years earlier at a boy scout camp. Lush stuff right off Pennington creek.

So these lights are wrong?
Not sure about those but when I first started growing and getting leggy seedlings I realized that I needed something that was not too hot that I could place just inches above them that would give them enough light to keep them from stretching yet not burn them. More recently I have been cloning and I have found that I can start my seedlings in a propagation Dome with a T5 and heat mat.

Get about $120 Go get yourself a few full spectrum led grow lights from Walmart like these 4 around $30 each and they cover a 2x2x5 with enough light to produce a kickass plant, pictures of my plant from a mystery bag seed that is 3 years old Im on a budget so Walmart is my go to place.had a $18 LED shop light with 2 $10 blurple led grow light bars attached to the sides during veg and 6 weeks into flower . would been alot better if I got these lights like back in February they made a huge difference in the last week.

Now to start LST where do I tie down or lean over or should I wait the 5th node is coming up now took the plastic off the LEd thanks for that tip! Y’all are the best! Happy Growing!!
Back when these clones were living in Dixie cups I cut them hard. But notice all the stalks now.

The plan is to soon get a trellis net and weave all the stalks.

You could top your plant > keep adding lights for each new stalk.
