I have a spider farmer 450 watt led 2022 Addition it’s at 100% max out put 450 W about 15 inches from canopy my DLI on the photone app on my new iPhone says 85 on another form they say I should not put above 50 but my plants are reacting well here I’ll send some pics I don’t see how if I lower the light to 50 DLI I can increase the yield …

Unless u just watered them the plants are not liking the light according to their body language. Leaves are not praying(raised) or resting(at the side). They are slumped over. Leaves should be praying when light comes on cus they are full of energy. Midday they should be at their side resting comfortably. Then rt before bed they should be tired and lay over a bit. To much light will give u less yield. It will stunt growth. Plant should be reaching toward the light. Yours are running from it. Your light is way to close. Or u can turn it down. Use manufacturer recommendations as reference then plants behavior to dial in. Plus the light heat can burn your trichomes like vaporizing so your flavor will be compromised.
In short if they are still praying at bedtime they want more light. If they are not praying atleast til midday its to much light. Gd luck on the grow champ!

Not sure about your setup but 450watts is overkill for one plant. 100-150watts would've been enough. Also the only time u need to push alot of light on your plant is week 7-8 of bloom. Then when plant starts drinking less and is almost ripe, start flush and turn light back down to preserve trichomes. Helps with temperature too. Lower temps during that time brings out colors and aroma.

Id raise light to 22" from looking at SF par map.
PPFD-map-of-SF4000-led.jpg
22" gives a more even spread of light to the edges.
85 dli is ~ 1900 ppfd. CO2 territory
Lots of people get great results with ~ 1000 ppfd.
Are you growing Autos or photos?

I'm running my sf4000 at 15 - 18 inches off canopy + 250 watt King. 2 weeks into flower and mine are liking it. Lots of frost for 2 weeks in flower. In a 5 x 5 tent.
Looking gd bro. Thats crazy how low u got it with no issue. In my 2.5x2.5 tent If I put my 250watt led at 75% dimmed any closer then 16 inches I see light bleach. May be strain related (black cherry gelato) idk.
Plants can only take in 1200ppfd without adding co2. But I've seen plants that u can do no wrong with. They can take everything u throw at it and thrive. Heavy feed, light, nutes. Gotta love those.

I'm running an ac 8 inch inline to get the heat out. Temps never get above 81 in the tent with drivers in the tent. Lst is never above 80. Vent to outdoors. With rh at 50%.

I just got the older version for the SF4000 "got it for cheap".. The only other LED I've ran was an old ass blurple that I tried out for veg earlier this year.

I too was curious as to how much power to give and what hanging height was good..

I'm glad I seen this thread.. I will try to hang them at that 18-22 inch range.. seedlings maybe Ill start with less power and turn it up as we go.

The light is strong ran into issues in veg due to height and well I have 2022 model with a dial. This is my first run with them tho. Still tweeking!

Yeah this will be my first run coming up.. Ive always ran HID's, but with how far along LED's have came I figured it was time to try them.

The light is feking crazy bright, so I was already expecting I was going to turn it down some during seedling stage.

Yes I started vegging my clones @ 21” @ 25%
Maxed at 55% throughout the veg
