Been looking into some genetics, I really like variations of Mac 1, starfighter, chemdawg, motorbreath, fritter, shot like that. Whos got the best? Breeders I'm gonna fuck with in the future that seem to be really good are dragonsflame, exotic, thug pug, greenpoint seems to be good. Idk what u guys think? I'm tryin the stock up on a few packs and looking for shit I absolutely can't miss out on.
I’ll let ya know how All Gas OG turns out. It has Ghost OG and Chemdawg genetics, Humboldt (apparently an old school west coast skunky strain). It will take something better than what’s average today to impress me…I’m looking for those gassy terps. I like what I’ve grown from them so far (Humboldt Seed Company) so we’ll see. If it’s not comparable to the gassy stuff I like I won’t recommend it. You can also check out AKbeanbrains…never grew his stuff but he’s got some old NL and catpiss genetics.
older thug pug stuff is good … exotic haven’t had the chance , some “craft breeders “ from IG are good …got jinx proof haven’t run them yet…I have hundreds of beans an a few freebies too… also have a G13 .. takes for ever to flower , mite play with it soon …. And I have a cross with pineapple piss cross.

Those meaty terps aren’t for me so I haven’t tried thugpug. I got a cut of exotics sweat helmet which I’m excited about, looks good and smells like fruity sherbet. I do keep seeing people mention herming issues with exotic seeds.
I also got a cut off of Giesel which is chemdog x mass super skunk. If only you were local.

Yeah man the fishbone meal adds some color I guess but definitely enhances the gassy terps. I push it on everything I grow and everything usually comes out really gassy and spicy it almost tingles the senses and makes you sneeze and go cross-eyed when you hit it. I love anything with OG Kush in it too I grew a couple gelat.og plants and with the tritons that s*** came out like diesel fuel like I was sucking on an exhaust pipe LOL in a good way

Yeah see this is why it's so hard to figure out what genetics to buy because I feel like certain breeders have a few certain strains that they specialize in that are really good but then everything else they have that are crosses of everything aren't as good so it's like even when you find good breeders you still got to sift through their strains to find the good ones, well the best ones.
wait ! Are you talking about the product it’s self ending up in the flower or just changing the smell .
that’s what makes that part so good is finding the pheno you want and the traits , and if you get into breeding it just makes it that much more fun And time consuming.
Yes. Scott even mentioned it in a vid…reports of people being able to taste or smell that it was used…hope that’s not the case.
That worries me a little…I love gassy strains but I will definitely be able to tell if it’s not a natural gassy smell or flavor. Would love to do a side by side with the same strain.
yeah that’s not good , cause people who are allergic to fish would cause problems ..
and people want that natural gassy smell and flavor , not something that’s chemical produced per say …. Now years ago with Scott said there was no issue when using TT with taste or flavor , cause wife is highly allergic to any kind of fish .. as I can remember the plant not gonna pull that up into flower , it’s like saying add crushed oxy to get a better high …lol… doesn’t work like that …. But hey it’s Scott , one day it’s fine then next it’s not … do this or do that …. That’s why I changed nutrients ….
I was thinking the buds were probably absorbing the smell…not through the roots but through the air. I dunno..a lot of people say it’s great too so I guess I just need to try it. It’s funny that I read nothing but great results from people who used NFTG but yet everyone stops using it lol. My philosophy is if the quality is apparent, nothing else matters. I’m only growing for myself though, not 500 plants. I’m excited to see how they turn out using nectar.
some “farms “ use nectar at a huge cost , I’m thinking there taking a lost then any gain … since cultured came out with there own line of nutrients , alot of us jump ship… it comes down to cost and how much you want to be involved … the nutrients are only as good as the person using them ….
Yeah that’s true…as long as the plant is getting everything it needs and is in a healthy environment. So are you using cultured biologix line?
had samples before the line was released to the public …. Click below on my grow journals that’s all cultured …reason why I use cultured is 1. Comes in powered forum expect the ph lush , and only mix maybe 3 things vrs 5 , 10 , 15 bottles …rather use my time for looking at my plants , trimimg or LST . Then feeding , ph / ppm , mixing …that’s just me ….. nectar is labor intensive and a great learning tool nothing wrong with that at all … a plus for cultured biologix is it’s carbon based , like all of us are ..lol…. And another is being cost effective, productive is the same if not better then the other … like saying which led grow light is the best ? Depends on your experience and how much your willing to spend …. I came from hydroponics to nectar cause the local guy said try this and let me know , loved using nectar , used nectar for years and then cultured biologix came along and using ever since … no guessing , only time I use my ph / ppm is for the feeding … other then that let them ride….
