The cat has continued hiding all day, but he's warming up a lot. He's been watching from behind a shoe rack that is close to the door. He just let me scratch his head and cheek, and laid down to let me pet his whole body. Then he came out from underneath of the dresser for a second while I was sitting in front of it. He's melting my heart and I just want to cuddle him.

I just realized I haven't posted any updates for awhile. I took these a couple days ago. The tallest plants started foxtailing pretty bad, so I moved the light closer to the front of the tent where the plants are shorter. One strain's hairs turned early, but they look okay. I'm not too sure what that's about. Roots are still looking nice across the board. The nicest row of plants are the ones in the mist box, but that's also the GP / CM x Grape Gas which is always looks good.

This is the first time the cat has hung out with me in the living room.

That's awesome man. I know we have our differences, but I'm a cat lover. My last one came to me in the freezing winter in SD. He was a tiny little kitten and was basically asking for help. I think he was actually born under the house we were living at. I had just lost my cat, so the timing was crazy.

I let him in and he was loving it. He was the coolest cat ever and everyone that met him agreed. He had an awesome life always having his freedom wherever we lived. But had to get put down after 18 years. He now has a shelf dedicated to him with pics and his urn. Anyways that cute little sucker you got just makes me miss my kitty,

Alright, so this had been weird grow. My new rule is one strain per light. Most of the plants are either getting too much light or not enough. One row is looking very rough and I'm not sure why. One row is doing really well. The rest is either too short and bushy and the buds are small, or too tall and foxtailing. The harvest is going to be weak af.

On top of that I haven't even transplanted my clones into rockwool. I ran out of root riot plugs and could only clone about what I needed numbers wise, so I have to wait for a few that haven't rooted yet. so it looks like I might miss an entire cycle.

The good news is I think I learned a few important lessons. One strain per light. Use less plants if it is going to be crowded. Stop using rockwool slabs. Get my new light hung to further help prevent over / under lighting. Hang multilayer trellis nets before the flip and use them to scrog instead of just for support.

Im going to germinate my Grumpz seeds and sex them for the next run, but I'm waiting until I transplant my current batch of clones. I only have 6 regular seeds, so it won't take much pheno hunting. After that I'm running nothing but the Payton strain for a few grows. It performs well no matter what.

All of the plants are going into mist boxes from now on. That has been the one clear success of this grow. I imagine it will work even better once I start using rockwool fill cubes instead of the slabs. I'm pretty confident that the next grow will be a 180. I'm also not too busted up over this monstrosity. The mist box row of Paytons will carry the rest on its back.

I am sticking to that one strain at a time rule too. It's not impossible to grow multiple string but it is definitely a lot easier to just do one.
