The entire republican party has become one giant shit show and if there are any moderate republicans they are gonna get dragged through the shit real good by the radical magats from ruby red gerrymandered districts. Here is a state example of bullshit versus policy and what policy there is is bad and stupid. Performance and show over policy and governing, pandering to lunatics on policy instead of the polls. I think the GOP is gonna split along regional lines if this shit keeps up, the center republicans versus the lunatics and magats and compromises with the democrats starting with the debt ceiling.

Send in your small donor money so we can cut your social security and Medicare won't sell well and the conservatives will have the big donor money and the rebels can have their small donors who want to cut their own throats.

I grew up with two languages. They felt vastly different to young me, but in fact they are neighbors in a world of languages. There was a joke that struck me as profoundly funny for reasons I cannot easily explain, but I think the principle you describe touches on it.

so it seems like what mccarthy is saying is that he wants to present his terrorist demands to Biden personally, so he doesn't have to air the republican's dirty dealing in public, so republicans can avoid looking like the bad guys while still trying to hold the economy hostage.

If i was Biden, i'd throw the fucker out of my office so hard he bounced, and let them crash the economy if that's what they're going to do, MAKE them do it in the full light of day, MAKE SURE EVERYONE knows who is responsible for ruining the world economy and throwing the world into at least a recession, and possibly a world wide depression.

Sure invite him and have the whole thing on camera, if he objects tell him it is public business and all negotiations and demands will be on video, live streamed. Bushwhack him when he arrives, don't tell the press until he gets there and even invite them in or they can watch on TV.
