As China continues to grow what is already the world’s largest navy, a professor at the US Naval War College has a warning for American military planners: In naval warfare, the bigger fleet almost always wins.amp.cnn.com
the Chinese navy has outnumbered us going on three years and most all there ships are modern as in made in the last 15 years
warships ≠ battleships
That statement alone says you know nothing of what your talking about as China had zero battleships during ww2 and we have built nuclear battleships that have tremendous lengths of time at sea with way more advanced technology than that of ww2.warships ≠ battleships
PLAN has zero battleships. Nobody has laid the keel for a battleship since World War 2.
there has never been a nuclear battleship. Nuclear propulsion was preceded by the obsoletion of the battleship. I suspect you are unaware of the correct use of the term. That statement alone says you know nothing of what your talking about as China had zero battleships during ww2 and we have built nuclear battleships that have tremendous lengths of time at sea with way more advanced technology than that of ww2.
Nuclear missile loaded ships not propelled. Icbm loaded battleshipsthere has never been a nuclear battleship. Nuclear propulsion was preceded by the obsoletion of the battleship. I suspect you are unaware of the correct use of the term.

How am I contradicting myself we have both icbm loaded warships and long range nuclear powered battleships please correct me sir and I really didn’t know as I am not nor was I in any nuclear programs in the military but I do know when we did six months at the end of our enlistment on a fucking carrier I learned a little bit about our military history and it’s navy as you should do tooyou are contradicting yourself.
give one (1) example of a nuclear-powered battleship that conforms to the third-party definition I posted some minutes ago. For convenience, I repeat it here. How am I contradicting myself we have both icbm loaded warships and long range nuclear powered battleships please correct me sir and I really didn’t know as I am not nor was I in any nuclear programs in the military but I do know when we did six months at the end of our enlistment on a fucking carrier I learned a little bit about our military history and it’s navy as you should do too
This "something special" might be called liberty. see my sig below:I think this over corrective attitude we have towards everything really thwarts something special that used to exist in this common
The same people complaining about inflation, are still buying shit. Stop buying shit and watch what the prices do.the same people complaining about China. Are complaining about inflation. Cut imports from China and watch what prices do.
Maybe they mean SSBN's are ICBM loaded battleships, everything you've said is spot on though BATTLESHIPS????? in 2023????there has never been a nuclear battleship. Nuclear propulsion was preceded by the obsoletion of the battleship. I suspect you are unaware of the correct use of the term.
Warships (though their operators affectionately call them boats), yes. But battleship is defined by its complement of large naval rifles.Maybe they mean SSBN's are ICBM loaded battleships, everything you've said is spot on though BATTLESHIPS????? in 2023????
USS Massachusetts BB (S Dakota class) docked in my city as a tourist attraction.Warships (though their operators affectionately call them boats), yes. But battleship is defined by its complement of large naval rifles.
The French did actually build what was officially termed a cruiser submarine. Her main armament was a pair of eight-inch (203mm/50) guns in a pressure-tight turret (which must have been an absolute nightmare when submerged).

As for the missile boats, they constitute their own class. US does have large surface vessels dedicated to missile gunnery, but designates them cruisers or frigates.
The Japanese … well now.
