Do not underestimate him- he's sly like fox. He played a short game of BIDEN SAYS and won. YOU loved and are still raving it. He possesses something few still have- big history that straddles the before and after. It's worth worrying about.
As former Senator Russ Feingold said:
“If you think this is democracy’s moment of truth, this is one of those things,”
I'd rather vote for who I want instead of tactically during next year's primary. But not going to risk our democracy over it.
He's not my first choice but I don't think my #1, Elizabeth Warren, can win the primary, much less the general election. I'll go with Biden in the primary if he runs next year. When I look at the crop of ninnyhammers vying to replace Trump as the head of MAGA GOP, I don't see leadership. I'd rather vote for the guy who maneuvered Republicans into swearing they will protect Medicare and SS and pretty much ended their taking the US economy hostage over the debt ceiling. All done in one speech.
Nobody worth their salt will primary him should he choose to run 2024 and I hope he does because he'll have nothing left to lose and can really cleanup with a new Democratic Congress 2024. Back to work to complete the cycle for his legacy.
