That sucks! Was it a big one in the middle of BLOOM or was it still in VEG?
Still in veg. I have a replacement for it, just wanted to test it out in flower cuz it was my mutant s1. Seems to be overwatered, but it hasn't been watered since transplant, while its tent mate is up to once a day already. The same pot of coco did the same exact thing to a bean of the same strain. I wonder if it is just too silty and dense. I shoulda fluffed it

It might be the medium. A couple of times, I've run out of the peat mix in January and have had to resort to garden soil for winter transplants.

Garden soil doesn't treat the young ladies quite as nicely as the peat mix. My rationale is the small roots struggle due to the denser medium. Once they get to a certain size they can do OK in the soil - but occasionally they don't get started and never get to be that size.

That's why I am baffled. It was trying to crawl out of its baby cup, it had so many roots. Then just totally fell behind its sister. Ah well. No blapple for me til next year. Maybe this skunk will be stinky!

On rare occasions, I've had seeds pop and look like they going normally - in the peat mix no less - then they just stop showing progress and shrivel up.

With this bean going bad, are you going to have enough until next year?

Microbe Lift was in the mailbox last night when I got home. Mixed up a couple gallons and watered it into all 3 tents. Errbody looked happy this morning. Although it did seem that there were more gnats flying around. I imagine they got flushed out of their homes and will be thinning out over the weekend.

BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA. I grow partly for the weed, and mostly for the plant therapy. I just go all year round. The skunk bean I was gonna throw away is the same age as the dying one, just a little smaller since it is still in the cup. I was gonna toss it, but it was cute

Got down to 63 last night so we could open the windows and turn on the fans for the first night in awhile. Supposed to get to 97 this afternoon.
Caught the mouse I saw, plus another one I need to dispose of today on the patio. Son reset the trap in the garage and caught one out there. Just the hazards of having a big field behind the house. They usually aren't bad till fall but who knows how long they have been out there.
Mornin.

Yep I second that it was the medium. Maybe it wasn't flushed/cleaned well enough. Just a thought.

I got all my stuff transplanted yesterday. Sure use a lot less coco working with little 2 gallon pots. I did one big one in a 3 gallon.

I think I have decided to add a 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 tent to my mix, so I can stagger small grows.

And I am going to run my ballasts outside the tent from now on...Which means I have to buy a $45 extension for my Progrow1800, and I'll just bite the bullet and order the correct dimmer for it.

Everybody out in the SW hopefully is prepared for the storm coming in.

Y'all stay safe out there and keep an eye on this one, it looks bad for some areas for flooding.
Put my bikes in the storage shed, covered what I needed to cover with tarps. Not expecting it to be quite as bad as they think, but preparing nonetheless
