Anyone use Hortmans.com for clones/cuts/seeds?

I did end up getting the apple fritter. I’m running it now so still can’t vouch for it.

i got an apple fritter from a local clone bank and that one and almost everything else I bought happen to be a hermy. So I’m actually a bit freaked out right now. Obviously that’s the huge risk from buying from an unknown…

to be honest they worked. There was a mix up where they gave me a “free” one for a delay but it ended up being the same as another one I purchased. But they were legit as far as receiving the clones (albeit it does take some time [30 to 55])….they shipped a couple at first and then 2 took a LONG time…but all in all I would use em again. Just make sure it’s when there’s a promotion going on because to pay those outrageous prices is nuts

Was the clones legit ? Did they seem real and exactly like the descriptions?

Not sure what's going on, but I ordered two clone cuts, during their buy-one get one free deal in Mid June 2023, and I received an email saying my payment has been received, but it's been over a month (Mid July) and I haven't received my clone cuts. I've followed up via email and their website chat three times, but theydon't respond back to emails, and when you do email their info@hortmans.com email account it shows up as undeliverable. I'll update you all on if I get my clone cuts. But so far, I would not consider buying any clones from these guys.

Wanted to follow-up, I just received my clones. Not sure why it took so long, but didn't have much communication outside of an email saying it was shipped and will be delivered. The clones look okay, but looks like the California heat really took toll during transit. Will update on how they look after they recoup and also will update if it looks like the right genetic post flower/harvest. After that I will let everyone know if I would still suggest the site.
Just super glad something actually showed up.

Hey folks, I've got a little story to share about my recent encounter with a vendor called Hortmans Clones. So, on Monday, the 24th of September 2023, I decided to order eight clones from their website, thinking they had those plants in stock and ready to go. I even saw 3 days priority shipping when checking out .

But, as three days passed with no sign of my clones, I started getting a bit suspicious. I figured they might be swamped with orders and hadn't sent out tracking info yet, so I held onto a glimmer of hope. On the third day, though, when nothing showed up, I decided to investigate further.

Turns out, I missed a crucial detail on their homepage. Hortmans Clones operates on a drop shipping model, which means they buy the clones after you place the order and then wait for them to arrive before sending them to you. My bad for not doing my homework!

So, I reached out to them via text, and I was happy I got a response. They told me they couldn't ship premium clones to Europe. I was cool with that and told them I wanted to cancel my order, even offering to let them keep $100 for any trouble I might have caused.

Now, it's been two more days, and I've been left hanging with no word on whether I'll get my money back.

What's interesting, though, is that I noticed they were active on Instagram. They even accepted a friend request from a different account I made just to see if they'd respond there, but no dice.

So, here's where I'm at: Either this is all a mix-up due to their busy schedule, and I'll get my money back soon, or, well, I might have fallen for a scam. Money's tight right now, and I can't afford to wait around, so time's ticking. I promise to come back on Monday with an update, whether it's good news or a cautionary tale.

man, they did come thru for me BUUUUT took an eternity.I think for the easy ones they took about 45 days (can’t exactly remember) been about a year. And then for some other ones 2.5 months THEN one they couldn’t get it and had to replace it w something else we agreed to. So all in all they were “okay” but take forever and didn’t come thru w something they had on their site (guess don’t promote something you can’t source?). I’m curious to see if they come thru for you…nowadays when ppl get your money they don’t wanna give it back… does it say somewhere no orders to EUROPE? nevertheless they should return it if they can’t process. I don’t think they would because they sent mine from Michigan and Oregon…clone would probably die going all they way over there.

Ya hopefully u get your bread back and can be a lesson to others. never ever ever ever send Bitcoin for something without first speaking to the vendor and getting everything situated at the very bare minimum. Especially in your case where you're shipping overseas. Honestly sending any amount of Bitcoin takes a certain level of trust. Unless u can find multiple people vouching for someone regarding receiving what they ordered after sending btc I would treat it like giving $1500 to sum random u met at a bar who say they have the best shit n will b running outside quick to meet their guy but will be right back in 5 minutes. In other words unless you have a bunch of btc you bought back in 2013 and you don't really care about losing a little, I wouldn't take the chance. Certainly not if u cant afford to comfortably take the loss. Hope it work out for ya

I was curious about Hortmans, so I decided to read some posts on here to see what they were about? The reviews were mixed so I took a chance anyways. They are having a $50 clone sale and there was a few I was interested in. I ordered them on Monday not expecting to hear from them for a few weeks after reading some of the reviews. Well I get home today which is Wednesday and I have a package on my door. I couldn’t believe it when I opened it up. It was my clones that I ordered. All of them together not separate shipments. I didn’t get a notice of shipment or tracking number. They were at my door. The look great! The papaya punch was bent over so I had to rig her back up. Any apprehensions I had are gone. Just an update from my last post. Don’t order any cuts from hortmans. I put the cuts I received in isolation. Within a week blood orange Tangie showed a spot of powerdy mildew. I threw all the cuts out. I never reached out to hortmans to tell them because I would not want to take another chance of getting moldy cut from them. I’m out $250 but it’s better being out the money than the rest of my plants catching mildew.

Yikes. Hit up gmo, dookiefarms, or any of the other clone vendors on this discord. These sellers are top-notch, will tell you exactly what they have in stock, hplvd tested, overnight shipping, etc. These guys run their clone business like they actually want to keep your business. 5-star customer service and better prices than hortmans. This is what clone shopping should be like...

How do I go about finding these clone dealers? I prefer popping seeds but sometimes I just want a nice cut of something rare.
