Things have sure changed. We used to ski Alta on a half day pass before working the evening shift. There were never any lines and it cost around 20 bucks. Now you can't even drive up the canyon, you have to take a shuttle and there are "soul crushing lines" when you get there.

Supposed to be another dusting Tues-Wed, a better accumulation on Sat., at least that is what the weather guy says at the moment. Storms are not going to hang around for days however.
Mornin.

I'm on day one of a militant diet. I miss candy already.
Militant diets historically don't work. Hang in there. Cut yourself some slack if needed. I'm back to Fasting today. No way I'm going to make it 24 hours today, but I'll definitely hit the 16 hour mark. Even after a 16 day weekend, I still managed to maintain the weight and even still drops little more. Weighed in at 201.0 this morning.
Also just listened to the 2 Bears 1 Cave episode from last week and they are talking about setting up a 5k in May. As much as I don't care about running anymore, I'm thinking about maybe doing some light training to attempt a 5k in May. Buuutttt, maybe not. Haha. It's still early.

I'm looking to lose 10lbs by my birthday. Being sick then the holidays... I haven't been very active in more than a month.

Summer of '22 I somehow lost 10 pounds in a single week. Walking 10+ miles a day and living off salad works like a mofo if you can sustain it.
I've also lost weight fast at various points. Usually the times it worked was when I was eating filling high protein meals and doing a lot of incidental cardio. It's hard to kick that addiction to carbs... mmmmm delicious carbs

Since my lower body started rebelling and I stopped walking early this past summer, I've been absolutely fiending for chocolate. Eating wayyyyy too much of it. All my self control seems to have jumped ship about 6 months ago.
Not the chocolate demon. I hear it is a tough one, luckily I can't eat it so I only have to ward off French fries and pizza.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand now I want pizza..
