Have a slight problem, hee hee, my Outback Haze is to big for my greenhouse!! The greenhouse is 12 feet 11 inches to the peak!

I've already pounded in some longer poles to lift up the greenhouse as much as I can, now I'm going to train the top, horizontally, along the cable that you can see running the length of the greenhouse.

For reference, this is me(see my hands) standing on my tippy toes with my arms as high in the air as I can get them, the plant that I'm talking about is behind me and to the right.

One of my Maxwell Silver Hammer plants from Oregon Green Seeds is over 10 feet as well! What if you cut a hole for that one plant?

Been a wild summer here, lots and lots of rain.. Did notice a few were looking hungry so the other day I was out feeding in the rain lol. 3-4 weeks back, sun was out 85 degrees, and then a minute later the sky turned black, dropped 15 degrees and rain and hail started falling. Took paint off my truck! Ladies got peppered pretty good. Pure Michigan I swear. Unfortunately 3/4 of my regs were male, pulled them and replaced about the same time as the hail. Big girl is purple punch, she just kept going and going. Only plant in the ground is supposedly ak1995. Good luck to everyone for the remainder of the season. Been a nice stretch of weather here in Maine lately. Sunny days, last couple nights have been cooler, down in the 50s, which feels like autumn. Starting to get that late summer/early fall golden afternoon light which I love. Brook had almost dried up a couple weeks back but with the recent rains it's flowing a bit more now. Sounds like the remnants of Debbie will arrive this weekend but not expecting much wind, just some rain.

Plants are looking good. Will be collecting pollen from the males (they're banished to the far corner of the property in the woods now) and dusting a few branches. Will be making the second generation of locally-bred Pine Tar Kush and will take another shot at making some Northern Lights seeds. Curious to see how the PTK x NL cross turns out, will likely breed the second generation of that one too.

Here's the hemp garden--these are all Cherry Wine plants. Looking healthy but for some reason smaller this year than in previous years. Not sure what accounts for that. Also seem to be flowering earlier this year.

How big is your place, that you feel comfortable letting those males grow out?

Just 9 acres. Males are small, in 1g pots, off in the woods. As soon as I collect pollen they get composted. You think that's taking too much of a chance? Done it the past 2 years and have not seen even a single seed in dozens of plants (other than branches I dusted manually last year), but maybe I should rethink this approach.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had a pollinating garden maybe 600 ft as the crow flies from my regular garden and never had issues. These were big males in 45 gallon pots too. Lot of woods in between.
