I got loads of oil heaters for the winter months just gta fuck about with them to get them on point a lot of the time but when they're on they're great

Never really thought about the mixed light over here I see a few big commercial grows run mixed over in the USAI still use 250/400w hid early on with most grows and occasionally mix them.

HID is like a plant tonic in the colder months thats anytime outside summer

It works well bud, it hurts plugging in a heater then blowing the heat out, when I get heat from light I feel I'm getting something more for the money.
If the temps aren't ideal i still get ok growth with hid in the mix.
A mix is probably better long as temps are ok
I do love my mixed aswell to be honest and since i went with the standard feeding rather then light feeding they seem so much bettter then last lot,
Iv just flipped the lights to 12/12 and made a new res as am away for weekend,
Ec still only at 1.2 tho while the calculator says 2

The ec you're using looks great tbh, I used to follow the nutrient tub instructions but when I gained enough confidence to use my eyes my ec dropped and my plants looked better than ever.
I couldn't work out why nutrient companies recommend such high ec it seems like its a scam lol...it's not, with ideal environment and maximum light levels plants need a high ec to maintain health.
Yeah I think some still quote a lil high but I do agree the more light you have the more they are gonna eat assuming there's no other limits and everything else is good in the room of course but you gotta remember that plants and there nutritional needs vary strain to strain ime I don't think there's a one size fits all plan that's fit for everything mate seems most nute company's seem to think there is

Love how much time the autopots save me aswell as the amount of feed, best yeild out of less plants so happy days, hope these flower well

That's ideal I'm glad they're working out well for you, I'm liking them to I'm enjoying the time off with them and just spectating mostly
I didn't realise how much nutrient I was wasting with dtw idk how much less I'm using now but it's a lot, I only need to fill my reservoir (50lt) once weekly ±.
With that yellowing sorted out I'm looking forward to the next crop.
I was slow to get them started ideally 3 wks ago would've been swell but its done now.
I fill 100ltr weekly now maybe 6 days and when was doing dtw it was between 140-210 in full flower....That's ideal I'm glad they're working out well for you, I'm liking them to I'm enjoying the time off with them and just spectating mostly

And like u say just spectating, glad u got yellowing sorted im glad i tried the standard feeding rather then the light feeding this time they look so much better, green stems in leafs not red

Anyone grown out a uk mac1 ? Dont know what cut it is I just got told it was the Mac 1 but it's fucking ugly and looks unhappy and slow as fuck wish I never bothered with it now .... other plants look happy as can be tho blue slushies are flying I topped two and kept the one untopped I read somewhere that untopped plants produce bigger buds
I've also bent over the one that has been topped as it was getting taller than the rest 1st photo is the ugly Mac and the next 3 are blue slushies 1,2 and 3

Mac 1 is fire if proper pheno, i have grown it before but only 2 plants gave my pal cuts to get sum back off him but he says he never took any,
If i remember rightly they wernt as healthy as others in tent but that was probs down to me,

Ive tried letting them dry out give them phd water I'm checkin for bugs because it's got folded leaves on the edges ... I've read it's a slow veggie but it's getting to me now all the others are nearly double them I've put them onto crates to keep them at the same light distance
Now u mention The 2 mac were also smaller then the rest i grew that time, im sure of it
Think it's a slow vegger most cookies stuff is ime then again watch it cos there's proly cuts of it floating about with viroids coming along for the ride apparently dark heart nursery and some others in USA was passing out infected cuts of it a while back
