Yeah basicaly they shouldn't ever realistacaly fail in your lifetime, unless abused/ run outside of spec.... the benefit of newer tech ones is they use less power, are more controlable, and don't make as much noise for a given rate of size/airflow.
Good info. I have a visosun 6". Nothing fancy but it does a great job venting 3 tents in one. I was just concerned how long it would last.

After reading folks posting these newer fancy versions with better environment control and energy savings make me rethink what I'm currently running. I may upgrade soon to a newer one. Black Friday sales are just around the corner. Thanks for sharing

That's amazing they're offering replacements. I'm fine using them as non oscillators, I hate making more waste and they still push air.
Yeah I use my old ones for bottom air now...couldn't beat free.

I prefer 8" in my 4x4's...they run on 1 most of the time. 2 or 3 on hottest days.
I like the Terrabloom brands controller best and they've run 24/7 for 3 years with no issues.
Have some cheap I-power 6" that I can't complain about other than their controller sucks.

We were talking inline exhaust fans. In my experience, their oscillating fans are delicate. Slight mishandling can damage the gears. I have found vivosun exhaust fans more reliable in that regard. Nice if they've improved them but after the third one started clicking and getting stuck I switched.
Didn't know that, I'll be watching.

**Date**: September 4, 2024
**Stage**: Flowering
**Day Count**: Day 75 of Vegetative / Day 4 of Flowering
**Notes**:
- Last week's light issue didn't hinder growth too much; plants seem healthy.
- Installed 2 fans (top and bottom canopy) for better air circulation; app-controlled for convenience.
- Notable increase in height; plants are starting to stretch.
- Significant smell increase—getting quite pungent.
- Planning to install a second trellis this weekend or early next week.
- Setting up the PROPAGATION STATION this week.
- Adjusted daily schedule to 10 AM - 10 PM; still evaluating this time frame.

Day 86

We're closing the 2nd week of flower. These girls are really on cruise, not much input other than tucking a few tops. This variety is so bushy, it has been difficult not to fuck with them. But to keep things tidy, I did pluck a handful if leaves. The canopy is very even across the top and as they stretch they're naturally increasing the DLI. We will increase the intensity once this initial stretch ends. They're each drinking 5-6L every two days, averages 35k-36k lux across the tops. Each driver is running 122 watts, 130 will be the next step with no height adjustment. Major pruning and defol will be done within the week.
